Eventslisted is not about business only.. i mean all this time i had focused around the business ideas and tools etc...

What a beautiful tool eventslisted as a whole can be in bringing people together.. connecting families and loved ones for different occasions.. Birthdays.. Weddings... Weekend GTs ... i mean picture having one these events for real and at the same time having them virtually on eventslsited for the ones who cant join due to geographical distances.. the live video feed ...the audio.. chat would give us a sense of participation to global events.. Small world getting smaller... AKA EVENTSLISTED!!

Re: 01 - Why Events Listed

cheers to you Aileen im sure that just like me the more u figure it out the more interesting it will get.. All of us no mater which industry or line of work we are from... and events doesnt necessarily mean bussiness ones only... we can do so many of the personal ones too.. like birthdays.. weddings.. etc... like for example if someone who is close to us ...and really wants to participate in one of our such events but cant do so personally due to any number of reasons... we cud take our birthdays..weddings LIVE for them online on Eventslisted... So that they can have a sense of participation..
i wonder what @simon has to add to this bit...

Re: 01 - Why Events Listed

Events Bruce need as many tools as possible.. and what i see eventslisted doing in future too is providing the event planners and marketers with all those tools.. also i believe it will keep them updated with all the newer versions too and ahead of time too.. for this i have complete trust in Simon now... Note to self: get good audio and video recorders..

So excited with the possibilities that youtube can bring, im full of questions already...like:

How to put up power point presentations ...which software suits the purpose best? i mean id rather have no video then bad video.. so i guess an immediate solution for me to present/advertise my company youtube would be a power point presentation with audio over it.. just like @Simon has done with this training video...

ummm how do i edit or collect videos and turn them into one video presentation.. ..Another very good point in this video was testimonies.. so like if i collect testimonies ... obviously that wud need editing to get them all together smoothly... tool? lol ..i know i know.. i should have patience is watch the other videos from this course..but no harm in asking right?

Re: Protected: 1. One also need to have a thorough understanding of the audience and there behavior.. IN SHORT WE ALL will be running our own media corporations...

The most amazing part of youtube is that it gives us top page placement on Google search ... it is easy to go viral with our content on all the Social Sites... Another good reason for us to ensure that we will build our reputation by providing quality content... another good reason that NOW we need to focus on being original ... Black hats are gone.. white hats are in play.. no more easy solutions with gimickery.. Consumer WINS!

Re: Protected: 1. AND SALE copies.. Are a major turn off specially for new prospects who have been around online a lil bit.. although i must add that they are a good idea for people from the older generation or newbies to the online world.. like my dad or my elder brother will surely spend time on them if its done nicely.. but me or my younger siblings wudnt even bother to spend more then a minute on it.. scrolling down and getting to the point at the end is a favorable idea for us.. So i guess in short it depends who are the target prospects for the product the sale copies are for...and then very importantly how it is presented to them...

Secondly i would totally agree with Simon .. its always wise to spend more and get the best sales copy.. cheaper ones i guess instead of doing good ..do more harm...

:)

Re: Protected: 1. Quality Content is Appreciated ... there r limitless possibilities created due to it too..

and i would totally agree with you about content publishing too Bruce.. i mean im not very experienced in it but.. i found the concept of pulling peoples content in my content very interesting.. i mean just the other day i was having a tweet chat with someone about IDPs in Pakistan ... all i had to do is pull some stuff from the internet and i had a lens ready in like 10 minutes.. http://www.squidoo.com/IDPs

for someone like me who had never really published content that was an achievement..

Re: Protected: 01 - Strategy

me too Joao ... i also need to explore Digg some more.. in my opinion when we like or share content on facebook thats also a kind of bookmarking .. isnt it SIMON?
based on what i have learned till now ... the good content spreads out Virally ... and the ones who put it out first naturally become the ones that are followed and looked upto by others....

like i look upto .. Simon and Jonathan there are others too ... havent had much interaction with you as yet Joao but another lesson from this intro video is that if the ones i follow highly recomend u for example.. you too get looked up at by me...

Re: Protected: 01 - Strategy

that is exactly the point Bruce, our responses would automatically filter out the useless content..as in.. if its good content it would be digged.. and spread everywhere.. if its not.. it would be filtered out.. i guess this video by Simon http://www.youtube.com/watc... would do the explaining moreso..

Re: Protected: 01 - Strategy

i guess the only social bookmarking that i have been into would be on Facebook only... The introduction Video really explains the importance of Social Bookmarking.. I did get myself a Digg account but havent realy used it as yet.. another thing that this video explains in my opinion and as an example would be life on Facebook... its like a truly Global COUNTRY... and the best part of it all is.. everyone gets to start fresh on it..

Re: Protected: 01 - Strategy

i would totally agree with u on this one too Jonathan.. Deejay has spelled it out right too..

A more immediate example for everyone based on this concept only :

How i got into social traffic.. how i started following who and why... I guess i had joined your group on Facebook Jonathan... and somehow i ended up taking that facebook marketing course or direction to use it at the maximum that u had started... it was a seven day email things to do .... which was really helpfull for me as in those days i was starting to find the social media importance and ease with which we cud use it for our advantage too.. Obviously by the end of it u had made your Niche clear to me..

So when i got that email or message about social traffic from u.. i had every reason to follow u onto there too.. AND Human Nature always has Gratitude for ones who teach and share... in other words i still remain in gratitude ...

Another very interesting thing related to the intro video only... initially since i was new.. i was listening and following till i figured whose who in the zoo.. whose for real.. whose there to just show off some importance.. or whose there just to market there products.. naturally the ones who were there for real and to teach and spread (with out hidden agendas) got my there places in my heart.. Like Simon was to the point !! i give u training ..i share cutting edge information... in return that we do our parts.. which werent really forced on us either.. I RESPECT that... Then there were other people.. ODD ones.. i dont want to get into that here.. just part and parcel of the life game.. they lost there importance overtime ... cuz one cant hide there intentions forever.. Mine was and is... to learn.. Do my part to the best of my capacity (got me to the 5th place in the leaderboard) lol.. ok im bragging now.. but what the heck...

IN SHORT >>> This Video introduces the BIG PICTURE .... amazing stuff that u share Simon...

Regards
OWAIS

Re: Suzy Q Bell's tumbins ~ aloha & mahalo. - wow. where is this?

beautiful place

Re: 01 - Why Events Listed

the filtering system when it came to people is just perfect...
