I'm on the West Coast, so on Thursday last week, I peeked at the open thread, just to get a preview of the early part of the show, promising myself I'd look no farther, and the third post down said Comfort and Will were gone. Curiosity and cats and all that, but it took the sting out, at least.

I was surprised by the weak performance Mark delivered last week, and wonder if he would do it on purpose, to boost his support for the remainder of the competition.

Never mind. Why would he do something like that? It's a silly idea.

Did it help Mark to be in the bottom two last week? Will it bring more support his way, if fans realize he's not as safe as they thought he was? I thought he phoned it in, and said so (http://foxsoyouthinkyoucand.... He wouldn't do that on purpose, would he?

I'm not going to see the show for another 3+ hours, so I won't stick around long, but while I'm here: I'm still confused about “buck". I know Lil’ C explained it—inner artistry meets physicality something something—but what is “buck”? Is it buck as in stag as in male deer as in virile, or is it buck as in, “You’re so money, baby”?

It's aggravating to see Howie Mandel nominated and not Cat. The thing I like best about Cat is that she seems above such pettiness as I am indulging in right now towards Mia—enjoying the fact that she wasn't nominated because I'm annoyed at her.
