Michael Moore you are my hero!!
We are all slackers.

As a baby of a baby boomer, I was very critical of my parent's generation. Those old hippies were supposed to DO SOMETHING to make the world a better place. They had the Kennedys, MLK, and Malcom. But instead they only got high, sold out, elected Reagan, shopped at Walmart, funded the Contras, etc....
So then I was supposed to do something.
OK- Got educated, spoke out on the issues, participated in rallys for aids/anti-war/the enviornment, donated to good causes, alienated conservatives questioning their bad choices in public....
And although I voted for Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, Kerry..... we ***f'd it up too.
Try harder.
Freedom isnt free. It costs about 190 Billion or so....

So then I was supposed to do something. OK - outspoken- anti war rally attending, donate money to the dnc/planned parenthood/NOW, alienate all conservatives by questioning their bad choices in public, etc.
And although I voted for Dukakis, Clinton, Gore, Kerry.......I didn't do enough. My kids will hold me accountable. And I promise to work harder. Freedom isn't free. It costs 190 billion or so....
