look. i I think that there is a big difference between people who give up their pet(s) when they find out the animals and children can't coexist and people who simply give up pets because of babies. You weren't clear, and there is a big difference between shaming assholes who don't even try and shaming all people who have to give up their pets because of a baby. I have (as many others who reblogged you) had a truly awful experience with a good friend who had to give up her best friend and companion of years because regardless of how hard they tried, the dog would not accept the child. It was awful, and heartbreaking, and she's nowhere near over it four years later, and I have a little bit of a problem with people grouping jackasses who give pets away because "Mommy's got a new toy" vs. people who give pets away when they have a baby for some other reason. So, yes, your initial post was not to my liking, and the clarification was.

sorry, but when != because. when equals when, and "when" in this case usually means when the baby pops out. no need to get all up in arms.
