As stated in the beginning of the article. If not, sad to say, it may be the speed of your USB stick. Often inexpensive sticks have a slow "transfer speed" and may not meet the minimum requirements. Microsoft didn't state there was any other than the 1GB size limit, but there could be more. Let me know if formating the stick via a computer works for you. Best of luck!

Re: How To: Configure a USB Flash Drive for your Xbox 360

Yeah nothing real major I agree, however, does add some cheap storage for those on an arcade or pro box who don't have the 60-120Gig HDs.

Re: How To: Configure a USB Flash Drive for your Xbox 360

Ya know Sean I really agree. A browser would be a great addition seeing as they already offer USB keyboard support making it a full out media extension wouldn't be too difficult. A few widgets and software would go a long way. Its a great idea. You can transfer videos via a service like PlayOn. It offers a really inexpensive ways to deliver music/video to your console. In my eyes its better than having to transfer directly to the Xbox every time you want to watch a video (even if it was possible via the flash drive) and is far superior to the Media Center functionality through windows/xbox extension.

One of our writers, David, lives by it. Not to mention the power saving benifits of the AMOLED vs the TFT. I was quite surprised myself. My suggestion go into menu and select the self update app. Make sure that you dont have any PRL or firmware updates available. My brother actually has a Moment and a few of his issues were alleviated after these updates a few months back. I would hope the phones you've been getting as replacements would have been updated, however, it often gets overlooked.

Another big thing is dialing down the screen brightness in the settings. Its generally just as easy to read at 50-40% and saves on battery considerably. The out of box settings aren't optimized for battery life by any means.

Give these two things a shot and report back! Now to say its a rip-off may be a little much. Sprint has been dirt cheap for data. Even on the $69.99 + $10 its still a price both Verizon and AT&T couldn't touch with a 10 foot poll.

I don't like the way that it was sprung on us.
