Eu uso protetor e um HD-25, que não é noise cancelling mas que isola muito bem. Acho que faltou fones no post né? Tinha até separado pra colocar, junto com o adaptador. Vou adicionar depois.

Sounds like terrible advice, most music nowadays is already squashed lifeless with compression, limiting and distortion. Adding even more on top is not a good idea. What you'd want to do is matching the RMS values of your tracks, that'll get you fairly close an even and nice sounding mix. Besides there's already a limiter on traktors output, and it's set fairly aggressive already. Unless you're playing unmastered material, you are very likely to do more harm than good.

Augmented reality is still pretty damn ugly (even if it's cool)...

A unified profile won't make that much of a difference until you both
have super good measurements of yourself AND as good measurement on
the clothes.

Well, usually it isn't THAT much easier to go to a shop than doing the
occasional return. Unless you happen to live right next to the specific
store you're looking for.
Online is just so nice, not crowded, not long lines, no obnoxious sales
people etc. And I can do my shopping at whatever time fits me best. (Don't
get me wrong, I like brick and mortar stores as well, I'm just a bit more
picky with how they are)

What's with this fear of buying clothes online? It's not THAT hard to get
the measurements right and not the end of the world if you need to do a
return to get the right size. Or is it?

I'll agree with Linda that for actual shopping, good pictures and good easy to understand measurements are a must. The fancy stuff (like Bj√∂rn Borg) mostly serves as branding in my opinion. At least today, maybe we will get more rich content stores eventually, but we're far from being there yet.

I tend to buy quite a bit of clothes online, and rarely need to do returns. What really annoys me is all those taxes that you get when buying outside europe. So I mostly buy from swedish stores. I've bought from threadless a few times (why isn't threadless on your list?), crazy long delivery times and taxes. But still ended up being fairly cheap (when the dollar still was weak at least).

Another plus of the online shopping is that you get double gratification, first when buying, and then when you get the delivery...

Well, isn't quick and dirty just what RSS is? I always have >10000 unread
posts in my reader and skim whatever ones I find interesting for the day.
It's also a lot faster to load the rss reader than all the blogs. A time
saver.

I think they're different things. I think RSS will be around for a long time, but that doesn't mean that something could be built on top of twitter and a rss reader. What if you could have a twitter sidebar in google reader to comment/pull out others comments on the same item?

I just can't see twitter replacing RSS (for the things that RSS works well for).

But, as the article says twitter can be better for really fast news delivery. But for me that's a moot point. It's the kind of news I don't use RSS for. I tend to go to the newspaper to skim headlines instead, RSS sucks for that kind of reading (since I won't get any indication of how important a story is). My twitter network has yet to break any big news to me (it isn't huge). I don't think that the casual user will ever have a network that big to be able to rely on it for news delivery. But it can be fairly effective for live coverage of an event (I'm following the pirate bay trial that way).

I think it's really dependant of what the current recession brings... If things get really bad, we might see some really big changes towards the better. I'll get back with more specific predictions soon.

Hell yeah! I fire up my irc client like once a year just for the sake of it (and it's mostly the same ol' nicks around in the rooms as well). :)

Back on topic, I think twitter has the potential of killing off the text message (sms) and handle some stuff that we currently email. + the broadcasting part (anyone want to join me for.../anyone know a good place to..).

It's an interesting mash between micro blogging (in the literal sense) and chat. Somewhat like a chatroom where the conversationstarters are the updates (what are you doing right now).

Heavily dependant on having people that you feel like talking to added. And if your friends aren't signed up, it'll be pointless. (Unless you're the social networker person that always seeks out people and talks with them)
