In theory, a Project Fi subscriber can get a "data-only SIM" (I've done that), and again in theory, it should work fine in an iPhone --
the only limitation being that the iPhone won't be able to make voice calls, but it can still use quasi-telephone apps like Google Hangouts, and Facetime.

In practice, I tried this (gave the SIM card to my wife, who uses an iPhone), and it worked fine here in the US, but didn't work at all in London. So we bought a cheap SIM card from a vending machine at the airport, which worked fine.

Re: The Best Touchscreen Winter Gloves

True enough -- but _I_ was dumb enough to buy them without thinking of this; maybe someone else is, too.

Re: The Best Touchscreen Winter Gloves

I bought the Glider Gloves Urban Style Touchscreen Gloves but my phone's fingerprint scanner didn't work with them on.
