She sent me this message just days ago.

"I still remember that time you held down Daniel something other for punting a soggy nerf ball onto my back one wet summer day and dirtying up my jean jacket. I was crying because it was the first time I'd ever worn it. So then you grabbed him and pinned him back against you and told me to do whatever I liked to him. "Kick him in the balls?" I inquired (being the polite little lady that I am). "Sure, if you want" came your gallant reply. So I did. Then I ran like hell to the little girls' room and stayed there the rest of the lunchhour in case that steaming meathead came looking for me. But not before I saw the colour slowly drain from his face face as he sort of crumpled up in pain. Ha ha. Good times. I wonder if you are still so chivalrous :P"

Here's my reply

"I don't know if you are messing with me, but I seem to remember being the one on the receiving end of that kick. I hope that doesn't mean I was the little brat with the nerf ball."

Just goes to show you even a girl who was bullied, now as an adult recalls the valiant act despite the years of torment. I'm sure I was the one with the Nerf though.

Re: Songs for Father’s Day

What a great idea for father's day...

Here is my contribution:

Daddy's hands by Holly Dunn. Great song!
I think it's my mothers favorite song.
