On gun control: unfortunately, it is a known fact that if you want to but a gun, it can be purchased on line or by word of mouth. Often people don't want to register their guns because they are afraid that they will become a target of the government confiscating their guns if Obama ultimately gets his way. Our rights to bear arms which is in the constitution will be destroyed, consequently people who have registered guns will he first people the government will call on to surrender their weapons. Stores which retail guns will be severely restricted in what they carry and the requirements to buy one will be stiffened so severely that hardly anyone will be able to buy a gun. Texas now has the most liberal gun possibly in the USA. After you pass your test which gives you the right to carry a concealed gun, you can now carry one in plain sight. The more law abiding citizens which carry guns in the open, may have a positive effect on crime because would be violent offenders may think twice before attempting an attack, robbery or other crime because their may be too many guns in plain view which they may not have counted on, giving them second thoughts about the situation. They might get your gun, but they may become target practice for them, I an old man and don't go out very often because I can't drive any more so outside of home protection I have no need for a gun. For you younger folks, I'd suggest buying a gun from a private owner before the regulations tighten up. I do not think that there are any laws in Texas requiring you to register a gun if it is kept in your home.
To sum things up people, the only thing the regulations will do is make it harder for honest folks to buy a gun. A criminal can always get their hands on a firearm, no matter what the law is! I'll bet you right now that you could find and buy a firearm
within a few hours of reading this if you tried!

Your observation is well noted. In a response to Obama09, apparently
suffering from denial is a problem with all left wingers.
It doesn't matter what you say, it doesn't matter how you present the facts,
they still say the thing you present are lies. At roughly 60, I grew up in the
"Cold War Era". Back then, the Communists did what the Democrats, Obama,
media and Left Wingers are doing now. When the facts happen, they have a tendancy
to either overlook them entirely, sweeping them under the rug, give minimal
recognition and then twist the story to be theirs if it is something useful to
their cause. Case in point: It is FACT that the Bush administration warned back
in 2003 of a problem with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The Administration
proposed a plan to regulate both to the institutions and the Democrats shot the
idea down. You can see the meeting that was held in congress back in 2003
between the Republicans trying to do something about the pending problem and
Democrats like Barny Frank saying that there is nothing wrong with either institution
and ALL Democrats attending the hearing supported the position!
Reins was also there with his double talk bullshit, you should see that. It's
comforting to know Reins is one of Obama's advisor's after having cooked the
books and gooten away with somewhere around roughly 50 million dollars.
It only is fitting, one liar and thief in company with the other! Didn't
Obama get some $116,000 out of Fannie Mae, making him number 2 on the lobbiest
recipient's list? Anyway, in 2005, Alan Greenspan warned of a pending problem
with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, this time Charles Schumer (D) said things are
just ginger peachy and we should just keep on lending money under risky
conditions. The rest of the Democrats concured and the matter was put to rest, the

meeting telling the Republicans that they are full of shit, that things are fine
with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, you will hear Barny Frank and a host of other
Democrats that make me want to PUKE!

On line there is one on youtube " Obama Documentary" Watch it! It is
primarily just news clips of him making statements on his position on Iraq. In it, you
will see that it changed with the political situtation. He's not a leader,
he's not interested in helping this country,he's a lieing sack of shit that will
tell you what you want to hear in order to get where he wants to go! Just go
back to his speeches when he was campaigning for senator....What did he
promise people? What did he do other than Fleece the tax payers once he figured out
how to work the earmark system.
He awards the medical center the wife works at 1 million buck earmark and the
old lady gets a cool $200 grand raise! I didn't know they paid that much for
giving head! He hands out earmarks, over 10.7 million alone in 2008 and he
gets reciprocating campaign contributions! These are ones the news papers picked
up on! When the Chicago Tribune asked the Messiah if he thought the deal with
him and the earmark money at the hospital where his wife worked was a conflict
of interest? He replaied "I think that supporting the earmark was perfectly
appropriate!" What's wrong with this picture????????? Does this man have no
shame? Does he ave no conscience? I would love to be at one of his rallyes and
let him tell his crowd of followers about how he is sympathetic in their
struggles on keeping their homes and working two jobs just to stay afloat. An then I
would love to bring up the subject of his Fucking the tax payers of the
$200,000 his wife got as a pay raise once the earmark hit the medical center. I'd
ask him if the check cleared yet? HMMMM WONDER IF THEIR BE A LINCH MOB? If he
were to apply for a job at a defense contractor. He would be turned down becaues
he wouldn't pass the background check! He couldn't get a job at any one of
them even as a janitor! I have yet to figure out HOW, with his associations, he
managed to become a US Senator? Think about it.....Based on US government
regulations, they forbid a government contractor to issue a security clearance at
ANY LEVEL if they don't pass a back groung check. Barack Obama, with his
associations, in reality, in talking to a friend who works at a national defense
contractor. In his speaking to the personel director of the company there at his
job, not only would he be turned down for the job, but after his back ground
were checked, because of the volutility of it, they would hand it over to
homeland security for them to decide whether he is worth watching! I guess there
are no security standards for being a US Senator.
SO>>>>>>to sum it up, here we are with the possibility of people willing to
vote a man into office who won't even pass the minimum low level security and
we are going to put him in a position giving him access to the most sensitive
information our country has. THAT's smart! Let's put a man who won't even take
responsibility to vote on things in the senate that he has to vote
"PRESENT"130 times so he doesn't go on record as makeing the wrong decision! I wonder
what would happen if the phone rings at three in the morning and he just goes
PRESENT! and goes back to bed!

Thanks! I appreciate an intelligent reply! Most of the comments I have gotten
have been from people suffering from "Rectal Cranial Inversion!" I wish I
could do more to support the McCain campaign, but am frustrated by the absolute
blindness and ignorance some people demonstrate! I got into it with my oldest
son yesterday evening. We were talking about voting and he said he was going to
vote for some off the wall person..... I asked him why? He responded that he
didn't like McCain, but couldn't elaborate on what it was he didn't like about
him. I attempted to explain to him that casting a vote for a no one is like
throwing away a needed vote in what might be the most important election in the
history of this country. When I attempted to elaborate on it a little more,
he said he didn't want to know! He didn't care about politics and really didn't
care who won! I attempted to ask him if he understood what a Marxist
government is? I ended up calling him ignorant and he left in a huff!

His first office was gained by having the names on the petitions of his oponents
disqualified to the point that he literally got all of his competiton thrown off the ballot! As the Chicago Tribune put it" The man runnig for president claiming to be the voice for the voiceless, didn't get on a level playing feild, he cleared the playing feild! HOW WERE SOME OF THE SIGNATURES DISQUALIFIED ON THE PETITIONS????? If you printed your name instead of signing it in cursive, it was disqualified (it didn't matter that some people may not know how to sign in cursive) If your legal name was Robert and you signed it Bob, your signature was disqualified. A person who was collecting the signatures, if they didn't register correctly, all of the signatures they collected were disqualified!!!

I have spent 30+ years of my life working 7 days a week 12-18 hour days. I have done without fancy cars, cable TV, the latest in electronic gadgets and so on......I took a neighbor to a government office where they give food stamps (she has been out of work for 5 months) When I was in there I saw black women with $150.00 shoes, designer jeans, $400.00 Gucci pocketbook. She was standing in line talking on he Blackberry cellphone discussing with a friend her days plans, one of which was going to pay the bill on the cable service. As I scanned the room, I noticed many other women, blacks and Hispanics (I'm not racist, I just didn't see any white people) that were also well dressed. It seemed kind of odd that the ratio was as it was.
Out in the parking lot, many of the cars were also fairly late model to new.
That is not to say that there were not people in there that did appear to be in need of help. but some, just seemed to be takeing advantage of the system!
I have no intension of shareing any of my pie when I see crap like that!
I can ramble on.. But I am so PISSED OFF RIGHT NOW THAT MY KEYBOARD WON"T TAKE MUCH MORE OF THE POUNDING! There is a lot of difference between a man that changes his story to fit each place he goes to. Read his books and compare his speeches to some of the things he has written in his books....
