I have a few questions. Does Education include college expenditure? For vitamins and supplements (and other wellness done at home), is that personal care products or healthcare? Does entertainment include travel, or would that be broken down under its constituent pieces like transportation, food, etc?

Also, in general - is the survey itself available to look at the questions? (I will look this up if there's no one with a quick answer. I realize this is one I can research myself :) ).

Supply chain and manufacturing capacity is the reason. The number of ventilators made per year are far lower than the amount of cars. The supply chain of parts for ventilators is broken in many different ways. All of the car manufacturers that have been making new designs to use parts that are more abundantly available and assembly lines meant for more volume have been working with a ventilator company. Tesla's been working with Medtronic. I wish the companies who normally make ventilators were also getting more kudos for the extraordinary work they're doing right now with the car manufacturers.

My family used Hangouts for all of our communication. My son had been using Discord with all of his friends, so I created a server for us and we've made the switch. We're quite happy. Discord's voice chat is incredible compared to Hangouts. I also love the fact that I can attach whatever kind of file I want into a message.

My family of four got 15,000 mile each way tickets to Maui for August. The flights showed up on their online search, no problem. I did have to set all the searches so that I had flexible dates and had to look at the calendar view. Also, we booked in February and were flexible with our dates - so six months ahead of our travel, and we're staying a week and a half instead of a week like I'd originally thought we'd do.

I think something else that would be helpful is if we could stop making a division between "crafting" and "making." Things like sewing an original pattern, planning an art project, etc, require skills similar to engineering and should be commended and counted.

Home equity is probably one of the best things you can do. Mortgages still aren't that hard to get, and most of the time the house will go up in value, and you won't be paying much more than rent. I think for people not making much it is a good way to build up savings. There is some risk, but it's not too bad considering that you're going to be paying rent if you aren't paying a mortgage. You will have the advantage of being able to do a reverse mortgage in the future, also, if you do this. Hope social security sticks around and don't retire until you're 70 (do what you need to do to prepare yourself to have a job until you are that age, it is tough for sure in today's climate).

There aren't any magic bullets. (And there won't be too many articles aimed towards you since you aren't the target market for financial advisors. Not being mean, but that is why most of these target people with incomes >100k.)

What do you want to accomplish with all of this? Papers and research aren't really an end goal. How do you want to change the world? Unfortunately, money decreases our intrinsic motivation for an activity (see this: http://www.bbc.com/future/s... ). The trick we have to play is to have a worthy goal beyond that.

I think the government should mandate that the airlines allow those that have a fever or have been exposed to Ebola to reschedule their flights for free or receive a voucher. I think the economics of not wanting to have a fee to reschedule (or to forfeit the whole amount for the flight) does factor into people's decisions. This is something that could be done immediately and might help.

I read they are just normal tobacco plants at first, then they dip into the antibodies. Let me see if I can dig up where I read that.
