Great, fun article. I just know I am going to eventually end up with every item on this list. I get such a kick out of using more than one lead pencil - whether doing an initial-sketch, or just taking notes in an oddball color. I just bought 3 packages of blue lead. I wish I had seen this article first!

The whole year is spider season in my house. But I don't get many bugs. THANKFULLY I do not get ladybugs. Those are a real menace around here due to sheer numbers.

Just started listening (and cherry picked this episode because I love this movie). Great podcast! But only 3.5 stars for Howl? Anyway I went and read the original book after seeing this movie - I highly recommend the book!

What they really need to do is give us options to tailor the UI the way we want it. Maybe some people realy LIKE to make it all look like Steampunk gears, or bubbles, or leather, or triangles, or Star Trek Okudagrams or even, yes, flat - let us decide, let us skin it. I want my icons to look the way I want them. More power to the end user, please. Alas, that is not the way Apple works.

Don't you commenters realize that helium is a non-renewable resource? We need to treat it with as much care as oil. Sure the US has most of it, but it won't last forever. We are being silly and irresponsible. I'm specifically talking about the use of helium as coolant in MRI machines - you would definitely miss it if it was gone.

I actually use my notebook for all of those things listed above (because "Furious Rhino Spleen" should exist as a band). But also for addresses & phone numbers (in case I don't have my phone to look them up), LOTS of doodling, and occasionally sermon notes.

I love drawing with pens! I didn't realize how much expression and life you can give your drawings by using different line weights. I'm definitely still learning.

Heh, That's why I don't really organize my craft supplies; ideas spring from seeing disparate things in a pile, and making connections that you wouldn't expect from seeing things next to each other by happenstance.

Someone gave me a bottle of this as a gift! I am greatly enjoying it, though it is my first foray into the eyedropper system. Sadly, the cap quickly broke on the Preppy that came with the ink - though I have another Preppy that I have used for months with no problems. I didn't load the ink into the supplied highlighter, and now I'm very glad! But I like this enough that I may buy another Preppy to convert and use. Or a couple more, just in case!

I've always thought Klout had some of the most interesting and consistent ways to visualize influence on Twitter, compared to the other analytics tools I have tried. (But I am not basing this observation on anything except personal use.)

I didn't think the concept of Buzz was horrible (it is "FriendFeed in your Gmail" pretty much). But I didn't like the lack of privacy! Also Google Reader quickly becomes overwhelming as the number of unread items skyrockets.
