Also, the Weekly Video.

I have tried for years and years to send out Christmas cards, then I read Julia Child's "My Life in France" and her stories about the Valentine's cards she and her husband designed and sent every year. So I designed a Valentine's card/letter and sent it to all the people I love--friends, family, close coworkers, etc. So many people told me how much they loved them. It made me so happy that I'm going to try to make that my new Valentine's tradition.

Also, since I am single and I, too, have trouble asking for help, I put "Yes, I am *still* single" in the card. At first I buried it toward the bottom, but then I put it right in the center of the page. I've already had a couple of friends offer to take me out to meet their single guy friends.

Re: Easyjet Opt-out User Experience Reply:

I'm so glad you posted this. I felt so validated when I read it. I've been trying to unsubscribe from EasyJet's emails for two years. At first, I did have an account, but I could never find the unsubscribe link. So I deleted my account, thinking that would end the endless stream of email. No such luck.

This is the worst company ever. I will never, ever fly EasyJet nor will I let anyone I know fly this airline.

Re: My personal connection with Les Paul

Gibson is probably the most litigious of all American guitar companies. They'll sue anybody, but that was good of them to resolve it in a friendly way (and with you getting a sweet guitar!).

I remember guitarinfo.com! I never knew it was you!

Re: Hey UPS, why do I have to pay to re-direct a shipment online?

UPS once "lost" a birthday gift that I sent to my sister. When I called to follow up on it, they put me in touch with the distribution center, which really impressed me--at first. The person there said, "Oh, you mean the glasses?" I said, "How did you know what was inside the box?" They immediately hung up on me. The glasses arrived--one broken, two intact, one missing--a few days later. Thanks, UPS.
