Because it was a great and original movie? Weapons was just another boiler plate horror movie (well directed and acted, but nothing new about it).

Frankenstein was....fine. Again, not very original at all.

As much as I love Wes Anderson, Phoenecian Scheme is just more of him going through the motions (better than the last two films though)

Sinners was my favorite movie of the year, and while I get it won't be everyone's favorite, I think it's surprising to not be in a top 20 list, especially when some of these others were.

I don't know if it's your first time on the internet, but this was a very predictable reaction.

One of the smartest things NYC did was to realize that cars and central park don't mix, and permanently banned them below 72nd street, making it a much more pleasant and safer place to exist.

As it is constructed now, barton springs road serves as far too busy a thoroughfare for fast moving traffic from the highway to downtown. let's construct it as we want it to be: a slow moving street used primarily to access the park. A sign won't do that, only design will.

At present it is one of the busiest streets for bikers, but also one of the most frightening to use.

I work and play there every day. The homelessness is awful. But violent crime is still extremely low compared to the rest of the country, and the uptick that occurred during the pandemic a) crested already b) was in line with the trend across the entire country

Developers providing affordable, dense housing in the central city have been good guys for a long time.

San Francisco is in its current state because the homeowners had(have) too much power to block new development. Let's learn from that.

How monstrous. While it gets less press than Houston or Austin, San Antonio's downtown might have the most to gain from highway reduction around downtown. It is completely encircled by elevated highway, and is so enormously dependent on the aesthetic and walkability of the place being its charm to tourists and locals alike.
