Yoko is right -- running is largely a confidence game. I definitely think you can keep to under the 15 minute mile mark -- you are already running faster than that, and a decent pace of walking the rest will keep your average under that time. Keep training! you're doing great!

just this morning I was listening to a This American Life from a few years back where John Hodgman tells the story of meeting and hanging out with the Jose Cuervo spokesguy. It's a great story, and it is from before either of Hodgman's books came out -- made me remember what was originally (and still is ) so charming about him.
