Afrigene, if you EVER watched Glenn Beck-even ONE TIME, you would know why America is in LOVE with him! HE DOES...CLEARLY...state his reasons for disagreeing. Furthermore, he offers supporting data-usually something as incontrivertable as video. He states those reasons better than ANYONE else with a national viewership. How many times did you talk about being "sad" when George W. was called everything from "Dufus" to "Murderer"?

James, I respect your opinion, but I don't think the motive is "to get people angrier and angrier to improve ratings". That's sort of insulting. If the content does sometimes make us angry, it's not the person chronicling the information! For goodness sakes! It's the events that are being reported ONLY in that forum that make us angry!!
I NEEDED to see the woman who stood up in the town hall meeting and claimed to be a DOCTOR (she even talked about being a GP, received thunderous applause, and said she had been practicing for four years) in favor of the Obama heath plan. Glenn Beck found that she wasn't a DOCTOR-but a community activist who had worked on the Obama campaign. Furthermore, her true identity was KNOWN to the congresswoman with whom she had the public interaction! Yep, James, it made me ANGRY. Why on EARTH would that not make YOU angry? Why on EARTH would you not want to know about that? WATCH JAMES! Enduring the right-slanted commentary is a SMALL PRICE to pay for getting to see what goes on that is reported nowhere else.

Kim, you are a poster child for your party. BTW...what is that absolutely OFFENSIVE name you keep using? Retardlickons? Maybe I am out of the loop, or MAYBE your intellectual and cultural superiority entitles you to use offensive labels. I notice the word is capitalized. Does this indicate that the word is THAT widely used? Is it one of those words that only those who run in the "watch what you say, or we'll take you down" crowd are entitled to use? (Please visualize the rotating neck and wagging finger). I was really careful with my spelling, Kim, as I noticed that you lambasted the Desert Storm veteran for his spelling. MY...can you spell "sanctimonious"? How about "tenuous"?

I find it hard to believe that anyone who has a problem with Glenn Beck has listened to anything more than soundbites designed to repulse viewers. Who could not listen to a full program and not believe the guy makes sense? If at&t, Walmart, P&G, SCJ, CVS, Lowes, etc. had pulled ads when our former President Bush was (and come to think of it...still is) inexorably villified by the mainstream media and on liberal talk shows (Maddow, Huffington, Olberman, Matthews, Maher...and on...and on...and on...) I might not have an opinion on their having pulled their advertising. Every night we endured countless personal attacks on the President's character, intellect, veracity, grammar, pronunciation, the way he laughed, with whom he associated without relief. I can't recall ever having been inundated by as much hatred. Well, the advertisers didn't balk then, so I DO have an opinion...today alone 1. I payed at&t out of my contract and chose another cellular provider 2. I cancelled (and for my husband and son) my at&t land line and internet service and chose a new carrier for both 3. I transferred our prescriptions from CVS-even though it is around the corner-to another pharmacy several blocks away 4. I bought groceries at Kroger (and saved money...go figure:) and shopped at Target for the first time in months 5. I am purchasing a $500 gift card to Home Depot tomorrow and sending the receipt to Lowes. I have ALWAYS shopped at Lowes because I had read terrible things about the leadership at Home Depot-but no more!
Everytime I shop with a competitor, I will send a copy of my receipt to the company I chose to avoid.
