I am thrilled Kyle Carter is ahead in the race of Mayor, and sad there will be a run-off in November. Karen Goh has never created a job in her life. She got into politics with an appointment by Schwarzenegger, he turned out to be a "real sexual gem" on our dime, when he was Governor, His actions must bring into question his poor judgment. I believe his poor judgment points directly to his additional poor judgment of appointing Karen Goh.
She sticks around Bakersfield because her mother lives here, plus she runs for every open position in politics, Karen Goh is a political hack looking for a solf job. She will do nothing to enhance technical job growth in Bakersfield.

I learned that Bret, Chris and Megan were the biggest bunch of rude questioners I have ever witnessed in my life. They sounded like they wanted to destroy Donald Trump before he could answer their ridiculous questions. I heard Chris call Trump a liar before his answer time had expired. I will never think of Fox news as someone I want to watch in the future. I think those three disgraced the integrity of this Country.

We have speed limits for a reason, and that is to stop people from killing each other while speeding.
Plus the Sheriff's deputy ran a red light / speeding at 85 mph / and killed a 72 year old woman. What could be so important as to kill another person? Now the County Board of Supervisors can get ready to pay out more money in a wrongful death lawsuit. This type of expense should have to be released to the public in a monthly reporting on how much money Kern County is paying out in police action lawsuits. The public would be horrified and shocked to see what it is costing every taxpayer.

Cancel your Macy's Credit Card. I called and cancelled mine today. I told the lady in customer service to please take down everything I told her, and I want it to go in my credit report. # 1. "Cancelled by Customer
#2. I am a U.S. Citizen, and I am cancelling this Macy's credit card because of the way they have treated Donald Trump on "Illegal Immigration".
Everyone should cancel their credit card with Macy's it won't take them long to get the message.

Cutting back on watering landscaping to three days a week, is one thing. However, who will regulate water usage inside a house or apartment? If a person owns rentals how can regulations legally be imposed on tenants? Will the owner of the property get the fine or will the tenants get the fine if they do not cut back on their usage of water? Many questions to be answered.....Please do so if you know the facts.
I also suggest the Government quit spraying chemical trails in the sky and let mother nature do the job of raining. When is the last time we had a good thunder storm to recharge the earth's surface? We may not be in a water shortage if the powers to be would stop trying to play God.

Just because there are more drugs in the World is no reason to allow store fronts of Marijuana Dispensaries, promoting a sewer of addiction for the rest of life. If you were addicted on Alcohol, cigarettes, Marijuana and everything else you seem to be very familiar with, that is your problem, do something about it, don't try to push your habits on everyone else.

Good for the Board of Supervisors. We don't need our young people taking drugs of any type, let-a-lone store front businesses selling them Marijuana. I also believe the County and City Attorney's offices will be able to collect attorney fees and Court cost if they have to take these landlords and dispensaries to Court. When these drug pushers get hit in the pocket book, they might get the message they are not welcome in Bakersfield or Kern County.

Any Marijuana dispensary that wants to stay in business in Bakersfield can petition the City Council for a land use and zoning permit, when they admit to the City Council the exact use at their business. At that point that business may be required to do an Environmental Impact Report on the location where they want their dispensary to be located. That same ruling applies to any other business that wants a land use change and/or a zoning change. The same thing will apply to the County Board of Supervisors if the business wants to be located in the County. An Ordinance approved by a majority of City Council Members does not require an Environmental Impact Report. These same Ordinance requirements have been approved and tried in Courts in many cities in California, and the Courts have upheld them. Any business seeking to change land use and/or zoning should be prepared to pay about $200,000.00 for an Environmental Impact Report.

I was in the Courtroom and listened to Judge Twisselman, he made a brilliant ruling, and I congratulate him. We have enough drug problems in this Country, we don't need any more in Bakersfield. if someone really thinks they need Marijuana let them go to a real Medical Doctor, then go to a pharmacy and get the drug dispensed just like every other drug with a legal prescription. Or they can grow their own then they will know it is not laced with other potentially harmful chemicals. I congratulate the City of Bakersfield and our City Council Members for not wanting to be involved with encouraging drug pushers in our local store fronts.

I have gone and watched the voter count. You can't tell a dammmm thing. Those machine jam and they run those ballots back through. I understand the computer ones being used in some parts of California are even worse than these old ones.

Check your voter registrar's office, and see if there are any voter drop boxes located outside. If so contact your City Councilman or a Board of Supervisor member and get those boxes permanently closed. That will stop a lot of voter fraud. During the last election I saw some individuals going to that outside drop box and dropping in a hand full of ballot envelopes. Get those boxes closed. If someone wants to vote they can take their ballot inside the registrar's office.

Obamacare has no intentions of keeping hospitals open. Hospitals are fined if they admit someone again within 30 days. Obamacare directs health care centers to treat patients. An R.N. on staff with no doctor, only Physicians Assistants. Many hospitals will be going broke under Obamacare.
