The Murder of Nona Dirksmeyer

I believe too much is being made out of Kevin Jones' mother saying there had been an accident. When my mother called to tell me about my uncles murder, she also used the word "accident", but I can assure you two shots to the head, two to the back and multiple stab wounds is not an accident. It is just easier for some to say than to face what must have really happened. I must say Nona's mother and step-father came off as real winners. I had very much compassion for this young girl before watching the broadcast on dateline last night but now I have even more. What a horrible childhood she must have had. Her mother shows no emotion, her step-father thinks he is very clever - whether or not he killed Nona I have no idea but he should be thoroughly checked out. I know many frugal people but none that live in a house such as they did and none that would want their murdered child (or step childs) phone back - especially after it was possible evidence and THEN to erase what was on it! BLOWS MY MIND!!! Either these freaks know who really killed Nona or did it themselves. At times it seemed as if they did not even care and I am sure that is not the case. The mother even commented on the number of phone calls her husband made to her that day and that it was unusual, but she thought it was a GOOD thing. I would definitely stay clear of these two either way -guilty or innocent. Whatever the case I hope there is justice for this girl.
