Just sayin....

Re: Take out the earpiece if ur not using it.

wow, apparently we got the memo on manners? okay, okay, i digress, but for the most part it is nice to see someone who isn't encumbered 24/7 by their 'gadgets' ...

i, like you, agree with your sentiment and feel its a real shame that simple, tangible connections with people are what make the difference. well, at least in my world. wait, this isn't my world? hmmmm...

i wonder if anyone (anymore) is able to separate business from pleasure, family life etc? they all seem so interwoven. and while i know the family life is predominantly affected by a person's business ventures ( in both positive and negative ways) why can't the two be individual and not one in the same? thoughts?

Re: Take out the earpiece if ur not using it.

ok, this is a good post. (not that the others weren't) but i agree wholeheartedly with this particular sentiment.

when i go to dinner (which is rare), i turn off my cell. i have all my ducks in a row before i head out and want to give my company MY undivided attention. i figure if an emergency comes up, the phone number of where i am going is readily available. i mean honestly, that's actually showing respect to whom you are with and relishing in the fact you are having some face to face time with another person. (we both know that's hard to do only online, in emails and with cell conversations)..

as for emails, well, outside of it being part of our livelihood from day to day, on weekends i dare everyone to check yours only one a day. i have done it and its liberating! why become a system addict?

texting is fast and easy ( we all like fast and easy of some sort from time to time lol) but REAL connections and interactions are what make us THRIVE and add depth to all our lives. dontcha agree?

you rock for writing this, thank YOU! :D

Re: How to lose weight, get rich and find love.* - 7 Down
