Usa a cartografia(vulgo, mapas) da InfoPortugal(entre outras empresas).

Re: Alcides Fonseca: Django Layout

I basically disagree to all your points.

"Lack of a default layout for different environments (development, testing, production, and yours)."
Wrong. You can provide a settings_(development, testing, production or whatever).py that includes settings.py, override the settings you want and run ./manage.py --settings=settings_xxx and you are ready to go. Instead you're doing the opposite, you're using settings-prod.py for production, you should use the settings.py with debug=False.

"Settings require the full path to media directory, and there is no default place."
What is wrong with that? Although is a good practice, because you can(and should) use MEDIA_URL in the templates(that's the reason that exists), is not required, You should use your webserver to serving static and media files.

"I like templates to be at the app-level instead of project-level."
Wrong. You can and should use templates at app-level: your_app/templates/your_app/template_name.html

Re: Alcides Fonseca: My Twitter Clone

In that case you have http://handivi.com ;)

Re: Alcides Fonseca: My Twitter Clone

You have Friendfeed for the groups and lot more.
Besides, what features do you have, besides a Friendfeed clone with SMS?

Re: blog.cpinto.net: A call to Portuguese startups: I want your schwag!

LOL.
