Glad i'm not the only one that see's the requirements and tries to build it before watching the video. I displayed todos on the page in a different way as well in a previous version ( https://github.com/nikibrow... ).

I also just did the Smuttynose Rockfest marathon in hampton beach, they also had a half marathon - super close to you. (but it was so cold and pouring rain that day... great first marathon lolz)

You should do the run to remember in Boston! http://www.bostonsruntoreme... its a nice flat half marathon. I love the half marathon distance. Its super challenging, but the training does not take up your entire life like marathon training does. :) Yay running!

I've been trying to get the designers I work with to think of designing for the web as designing a 'system' and not 'pages'. You have elements, modules, cards etc and you set up different ways for them to interact.

I'm wondering if getting to actual code (html,css,js) quicker in the design/creation process will help others with this object oriented approach. Its hard to visualize unless you can see things in different contexts.

You can't walk out of a store without paying for the items that you want. Why do designers/developers let clients have all the assets/launch sites without final payment in advance?

I've always had pretty good luck with speaking to my past clients and asking for referrals or if they know anyone who is looking for a designer. Word of mouth is the best way to get clients IMO.

What you are describing about loving being around other runners and their energy is called runners high. It is quite possibly the BEST thing in the world.

Also, a singular beer after running can be pretty dangerous. I had a beer after the half I ran yesterday and was quite, well, it was fun. :) Hydrate!

I've always been curious about the one good earbud. I know the sound quality probably isnt the best, but not having another bud dangling, and getting stereo in one ear sounds enticing.

As far as my 'closest' call. I was biking last year on mass ave infront of the mass ave stop on the orange line. Going kinda fast, in the right part of the right lane. There was an ambulance parked at the intersection of a stop light. Driver opened his door and I swerved out of the way just in time (luckily no car in the lane behind me).

In hindsight, I think it would have been kind of funny to be doored by an ambulance... or maybe not!
