Beagle is making $3M per year in Vancouver and had 8 points in 55 games. Hagelin is making $2.75M per year with the Caps this year and had 25 points in 58 games. Both have extra value outside of offense (face offs for Beagle, PK for Hagelin)

I see so much complaining about Hagelin and Panik’s lack of offensive production on this forum and reddit. I miss Beagle for the type of guy he was and all the time he spent with the org but $3M per year for 8 points in 55 games from a forward is over paying.

He’s on pace for 40 goals this season at age 23 and on the second line. Why not some 50 goal seasons, especially whichever season he ends up on the top line?

Why not keep Kempny with Gudas? 2 Czech players who go way back. Was nice seeing Gudas immediately stand up for Kempny after the hit to the head by lemieux in the Rangers game.
