I used it to contact local parliamentary candidates to ask them all if they'd like to write 500 words each to appear on Digbeth is Good:

http://digbeth.org/2010/04/...

Re: Eccomony fails to bounce back for rubber shop

It closed its doors for the last time on Saturday 16th Jan. But you can still order your cut-price fetishwear online, if that's your bag. Trying it on in the shop looked like fun though - there was a huge bottle of talcum powder just outside the changing room entrance.

Re: Danny Smith: Is Mr Egg beaten?

Danny, I love your turn of phrase more than life itself.

Re: Local heroes: birmingham, uk

The Rainbow's Rock 'n' Roll triathlon - it were a picture of Cllr Martin Mullaney we threw a telly onto. Very satisfying it was too. A full round-up of what was a gloriously anarchic day is here: http://digbeth.org/2009/09/...

Re: Brummie of the Year 2009 – Nominations Open

Mr Ralph. Because he's lovely and he's suffering from the credit crunch. I spoke to him the other day - he's finding it hard to source cheap stock because all the warehouses he used to buy it from are closing down! He can't even find the usual festive goodies for his suitcases in the run-up to Christmas. Give Mr Ralph your support, and keep a Birmingham institution alive.

(In case you're wondering who Mr Ralph is: http://digbeth.org/2008/10/...

Re: Birmingham ArtsFest 2009

Oh dear, that's a pity. They do have the data there, it just needs to be freed up for people with the capacity to play with it. It is a bit silly - when you're in th city centre during ArtsFest you want to know what's on next, rather than what's on in a by venue, as it's easy to hop from one place to another. The programme just isn't presented in the way that most people want to use it.

Re: Birmingham ArtsFest 2009

If my memory of my days workling at the Bham City Council Arts Team serve me correctly, I think they do actually create a version of the timetable in a similar format like this for internal use. Hopefully if they see there's a call for it they'll work on making that public.

Re: Inside the Birmingham Battery

I think this is one of the loveliest YouTube films I've ever seen.
