DVDs and Blu-ray will soon be replaced by high definition internet streaming over the next few years. If the USPS does not do something soon they will continue to see a decline in items being sent.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A solution is to make it easy for anyone to send custom greeting cards and event invitations to a high quality printer located at each USPS location closest to the recipient. The USPS then would deliver the item that day or next day.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;USPS could partner with companies like Apple, Hallmark, and Facebook. Build an online store where greeting cards and invitations can be viewed, customized, bought, and then sent over the internet to be printed at the nearest post office to the recipient. The site can be integrated into social media sites like Facebook to give you the option to create and send a card to someone on their birthday instead of leaving a lame message on their wall.
