No, I'm not vegan, I eat free range eggs and organic milk. But I do not eat Parmesan because it uses rennet, the animal has to be slaughtered for rennet, but not for milk or eggs. If I ate rennet or gelatine then I may as well eat meat. Parmesan is not vegetarian, if it was it would be labeled 'suitable for vegetarians' like lots of other cheeses are.

no. Parmesan is not vegetarian. It is made with animal rennet. Look it up.
