you really think you would? how can you know for sure? you really think you would be ok with slimy, grease ball, skeezy men following your every move, taunting you, insulting you, just so they can get a reaction out of you that they can later sell to some rag for big bucks? you'd be ok with the entire world knowing everything about your personal life? you'd be ok with not being able to even go out to dinner without a dozen or more paparazzi coming along too? you'd be ok with walking down the street with a friend, and the next day there are headlines all across the nation that you two are dating? you'd be ok with having to keep all your relationships under wraps? you'd be ok with not knowing which one of your friends you can trust with your secrets because who knows if they would sell one of those secrets to the aforementioned rag?

if you'd be ok with all of those things, god bless ya because i sure as hell wouldn't be and i would be more bitter about it than kristen that's for sure.

kristen never said anything about regretting her decision to sign on to the twilight saga, this snippet was taken out of context, if you would read the whole thing, or hell even some of her other interviews, she clearly states how grateful she is to twilight and all the opportunities it gave to her. she loves the saga and the fans (maybe not some of the crazies, but that's a different story) she just hates that doing what she loves means having her personal life exposed for everyone to see, being an actor means you entertain people on the movie or tv screen. it shouldn't mean that your personal life has to entertain people off of it.

you don't have to be a fan, but if you read the article, she isn't dissing the fans. she's dissing the paparazzi. two totally different things. this snippet of the article was also taken out of context, she says later in the article that she doesn't regret signing on to do twilight because she loves what she does, she loves the fans, and she gets to do something that she loves everyday. so, yeah check yourself because she said nothing negative about the fans. it's the paparazzi that she hates, and with good reason.

she is getting a lot of flack for this article. and i think it's getting blown way out of proportion. i understand that some may be offended that she used the term "rape" and it probably was a poor choice of words, but she's human, and I've made mistakes before too, we all have. Kristen is in NO way bashing the fans of the twilight saga, or even the media that writes stories on her. What she is bashing is the dirty scoundrel paparazzi that are often disgusting and rude, waiting for her to make a mistake so they can sell the photo for big bucks, it's a dirty way to make a living. A lot of people are saying that "she's an actress, she signed up for this." actually no, she, unlike the majority of celebrities out there, actually got into acting for the acting, not the fame, which is one of the things i really respect about her. Even if she is a part of a successful movie franchise like twilight, there is no reason that her personal life should be exposed for everyone to see, i can see how that would be beyond annoying and frustrating. It's gross how celeb obsessed american culture is, give the poor girl a break. i would be cracking under all the scrutiny if i were her, and she seems to be handling herself really well.
