A November 21, 2008 Sun (UK) article spread internationally stating that Michael had adopted the religion of Islam through friendship with both myself and my colleague Idris Phillips during recording sessions in Los Angeles.

For the record: Though our professional circles did cross-over slightly with various common professional acquaintances - I never had the honour or pleasure of meeting Micheal Jackson personally, nor did we ever correspond on matters of our professions, personal lives or faiths.

Peace,
dawud wharnsby"

Link: http://www.wharnsby.com/03_...

Re: masyouth_suhaibweb06091

online dude

Re: masyouth_suhaibweb06091

yayyyy

Re: Obama appoints American Muslim head of Gallup as advisor Egyptian-born US Muslim to advise White House

This is awesome!

Re: *New Series* - Maliki Fiqh Part 1

jazakullahukhayr, this is some good stuff!

Re: A Day I’ll Never Forget: Giving the Khutbah on 96th in NYC and Meeting an Amazing Brother!

whats up Ali!

Re: Towards Refinement and Maturity: al-Azhar al-Sharif Instructs how to Handle Controversial Issues

lol

Re: Social Responsibility And The Reconstruction of Society In An Age Of Pluralism

JAK

Re: I Really Like Imam Zaid’s Translation for the Class

Well online there were no errors. But just to make sure everything is fine. But yes the book is very good and Imam Zaid's commentary is nice too. I recommend it, using a book is the most important in any class.

Re: I Really Like Imam Zaid’s Translation for the Class

Unfortunately the ones purchased at the ISNA convention in 2008 have some errors, as the website claims. I purchased mine at the ISNA convention but I have not exchanged it. Would it make a difference? Hamza Yusuf has a busy schedule and does not seem to be as free as Imam Zaid Shakir. Hamza Yusuf goes around the world and therefore does not have the time Imam Zaid Shakir has. This was so important you posted this. The people you posted are role models for everyone, not just the Imams. I have been put in the same situation regarding scholars needing money. I mean I'll pay for your ticket, hotel room and a "thank you for coming" honorarium but if it is an insane amount I might as well just do it myself!!

By the way, you forgot to mention that Qari Sh. Syed Jebril does not even allow his voice to be recorded, subhanallah. ;)

Re: In Oklahoma Everything is No Ok: State Seek to Ban Hijab

Rex Duncan is for sure lying when he says the bill is not aimed at Muslims. Duncan should speak the truth on the legislative intent of the bill. The whole reason the bill even started was because of the issue of a Muslim woman taking her picture with the hijab.

We all know this is Rex Duncan's way of trying to refuse rights to Muslims. Others included in this bill would be Sikhs and cowboys. However, the American people are already not taking this nonsense. Alhamdulilah, most people I have seen are rejecting this bill.

Jazakullahukhayr Imam Suhaib for posting this.
