I think they are not fighting for the same user. It will reform a certain kind of online search and make online research more relevant for analytical purposes but I don't think it will take over the masses. I think it will inspire more web innovation though.

This link has a lof of information from the New York Times as well as others talking about the advantages and disadvantages of making kindle textbooks. http://www.newsy.com/videos... I think that if this new kindle can have a strong battery life, it has a chance. I know the one thing that I love about my textbooks is that i don't need to sit next to an outlet to read them.

There are a few problems with this withdraw plan. First of all, parts of the city are welcoming the Taliban, as stated by Al Jazeera in this video clip; http://www.newsy.com/videos... The other problem is the fact that the Taliban is only removing non-citizens of the city. This leaves quite a few people to hold down fort and recruit. This retreat clearly means very little.
