It's amazing to listen to the expert in this vdo says that the therapy was kinda work before because patients believe it changes their sexual orientation. But, it doesn't. The only thing it changes is patient's behavior, not the innate desire! And, this is scary because it makes a lot of people think they're recovered when they're actually not!!!

I think they are learning from their old rivals. If what is going around is true, there seems to be some conflicts arising between Steve Jobs and Eric Schmidt. Schmidt stepped down from the board of directors recently, and it wasn’t long after that that the Google app was struck down. I wonder if this is a coincidence or not?! I agree... we definitely need more of this party bucking... but what stinks, and I know I am not alone on this, is the fact that the health care plan is slowing down, and before long we will be at a hold still. We NEED this health care plan, and we needed it yesterday. The Blue Dogs have a lot of nerve to hold this up. Although, I can agree that we need to talk about what it is that is being signed, but still. There is only so much that we can take. I found an interesting video that shows both the pros and cons of this stall. You should check it out it is pretty interesting.

Since the war on terror is fading away, I don't see any points of spending huge amount of budget having F-22. The plan to build F-35 instead makes sense because it's cheaper and STILL can defense our country. This is what you have to do to optimize your spending. They have to get the most out of every single dollar they spent. That includes a budget management action like this. It's for sure that people will lost their jobs, but doesn't that happen everyday anyway?

Think about the "30 hours" maintenance and about $40,000 spending every hour this jet is on the air! That's a whole lot of money we can spend on something else more important.

Obama wants the Health Care bill to be passed by August 8th. That's a risky move by Obama. Currently, he doesn't have the votes. And, I agree with a writer from the Kansas City Star,
“A delay is appropriate; health care reform can't be handled in a slapdash manner. The issue is too important. And it would be too costly -- in terms of money and in terms of Americans' health care -- to rush a bad plan through.” Media outlets are having a field day. I think it has become somewhat dangerous to make statements like this. Rachel Maddow did a good segment on it a while back which I am too lazy to look for, but you should check it out. Her point was that, it is dangerous when a swath of people believe that the President is illegitimate. It is the kind of hostile, not-so-subtly racist belief that can lead to crazy fringe group violence.

If Sotomayor doesn't get elected to the Supreme Court, Moderates and Republicans would be able to ease up on the tension and breathe. Not because everyone "hates Sotomayor." It's because it would prove that the Democrats in congress can and will think on their own terms. It would show Obama that having a "super-majority" congress doesn't mean you'll get everything you want. Our government is set up as a checks and balances system.

It's also interesting how many media organizations, such as CNN, have been interviewing Latina Women to show Sotomayor's legitimacy. http://www.newsy.com/videos... I feel like multiple perspective from multiple ethnicities would be more convincing.

PBS Newshour states, "I think it’s very telling that for these seven months that this process has dragged out, you have not seen Al Franken do any of that temperament stuff that some had suggested he would." http://www.newsy.com/videos... Although Republicans think his election is a "joke," he isn't taking it as one. Good for him. Many comics are intelligent people who notice details that others pass by. Hopefully his nomination will mean good things for the US.

I like the idea of not having a limit, and requiring movies to reach a certain threshold, which is what they are going to do for the Original Song category. But the expansion has caused a lot of controversy : http://www.newsy.com/videos...
Having no-limit would solve the voting problem. With more movies up for scrutiny, a film can win with a smaller proportion of the vote, which could further alienate viewers.

but I think the opposite is true, that true art house movies get buried under the weight of commercially successful movies like Benjamin Button( which was awful and way too long). Expanding the category makes rooms for gems like In Bruges to make it into the best picture category.

I think this is a move legitimate change than the decision to expand the Best Picture category to ten ( see more here http://www.newsy.com/videos.... Think about the year before last when Enchanted, that's right Enchanted had like 3 songs nominated. Which was ridiculous, I would rather have lost the category then have to sit through those songs.

The chinese netizens already left 10,400 comments on an anti-Green Dam website called issw365.org. http://www.newsy.com/videos... They are voicing their frustrations and opinions against Green Dam strongly. However, I don't think their voice will be able to stop the Chinese government. But, through other reports, it sounds like the Green Dam system will contain holes that Chinese citizens can filter through to beat the governments censorship.
