Good Car Co had their first Peugeot Expert electric van on show at the NRMA expo in St Ives. Looked ideal for this kind of use, if a little compact vs the Merc. Range approx 300ish kms and price approx $90k for what I was looking at.

Bryce - just a quick, inconsequential tidbit of info -

as the Zoe doesn’t have DC charging (in fact the Zoe was the only full battery EV to be sold here without it)

The BMW i3 was sold here with DC Fast Charging as a paid option. I had a 2015 i3 without DC Fast Charging specced. Who knows why BMW offered it in this way.

David - what date in November does yours expire, and what date in December is your stay in Fiji? IC Fiji is excellent, was there in June. Great value to be had from the dining discount.

Thanks for the tip on the CBA card, I'll look it into it more detail. It is the season for sign up bonuses it seems... beginning of new financial year I can only assume means the bank's marketing $$ have been topped up.

For sure, Asia Miles and Enrich are very handy to have across the board. Just a shame the earn/transfer rates are generally not so great on Altitude cards.

In my view, it's not so much about value, more about predictability. If funding my own travel, I love being confirmed in Business. It reduces stress, no thinking about whether I will/won't get the upgrade confirmed. If on employer travel, I may have no choice, in which case into the lottery I go. So it's very much personal preferences and circumstances, but in my view, Business redemptions outright are the way to go.

Not really a question of which ANZ product, more about where your allegiances lie in terms of collecting points generally. Like for like I prefer Qantas to ANZ rewards, but if you have no other Qantas points for example, then that would sway your decision.

On your first point - you're right. I'm letting my 'I don't put large amounts of spend through my credit card' personal circumstances cloud my judgment. I'll update accordingly.
I had no idea about the dedicated CSRs too. Sounds very handy.

Busy week... Moving house!
They are excellent though, best I've seen in a few years. In my view, either go Black and try and use the benefits and Amex earn rate, or Classic and keep things simple, and probably ignore the Platinum.
