Feeling better, for sure. I use most of my time-off for "Mental Health Days"
as well. My boss is a bit of a slave driver, so we come in unless we're

Oh I look forward to your words on this one my friend. I did take a fairly
moderate line on this one rather than simply going off. But if we were to be
speaking over beers? Well...children would run in fear.

The LDS Church is desperately trying to seem more "mainstream" and
"appealing" to it's audience and observers. I think it's really time to
encourage people to start visiting the roots of this Corporate Religion. Or
to look towards Bonneville International and other holdings.

Free-Agency is laughable, otherwise the LDS leadership would have let the
people decide this as "God's Will" rather than pouring money, bodies and
threats into its defeat. If there's evil in this world, religions such as
this are forming it in their own image.

I'm sure this won't be the last time I talk about this...and I will
certainly loosen my tongue a bit more. Heheheh.

The Bible is a lost book when compared to what we know is right; especially
when we take those comparisons and look at them from another point of
view...with compassion.

Besides, it's fairly well proven that the first book of the NT was written
decades after Christ's death...and None of them were written by the people
who actually witnessed the events in question. It's a historical piece of
Fiction...but nothing to establish a Government upon.

You're correct. It's a choice in need of sleep. We cannot continue to do
this.

In America, Ronald Reagan decided to cut costs and close many, many
facilities helping people with Mental Illnesses. This action placed
thousands of people in need of care on the streets. They never left. Our
homeless population is swollen with individuals in need of care who cannot
take care of themselves. They were basically thrown out of their homes. Any
hope of treatment and becoming a "functional member of society" was
destroyed by one man, his policies and the lack of action from every
politician since.

It sickens me. DE is often in contact with the homeless population here. We
could do a lot more for them with 1 simple act.

Reform Health Care.

With this 1 act everyone would benefit. Yes, some would pay more taxes, but
how much are they already spending on the repercussions of ignorance?

Fathers, Mothers and Children having to make the choice of "I pay for this
med, but I cannot afford food if I do" is NOT something to be tolerated in
America.

No one's going to create a socialized medical system in America in the near
(aka 4 - 8 years). Having lived in constant exposure to the "behind the
scenes" world of our medical system, I learned a lot about it and listen
closely when people speak of changing it. You have no worries from
Republicans or Democrats on that issue.

Providing health care to all US citizens or Legal Immigrants? Yes. That
should be done, soon. This will involve government participation and careful
negotiations with "the health care powers that be".

I used to go into the Reservations quite often, I've seen the facilities you
speak of. Remember, however, this isn't a fair representation of what
"socialized medicine" would look like on a greater scale in America.
Reservations represent "sovereign nations" (that unto itself is a joke...but
I won't go there) and the conditions we as settlers of this land have done
to the Native population represents one of the worst crimes our leaders have
committed since Slavery. (I'm off the subject now).

I guess what we all need to ask ourselves is this:

"Is the current system broken?"
"You may be willing to put up with a lot when it's you getting treatment,
but what would you put your children and loved ones through if they were the
parties needing care?"

I can tell you from hard experience, the game changes when it's your child
who's dropped on the line.

Oh, it was Billy Idol alright - and it was wild and it was awesome. I
was going to shoot some better video but one of the crazy drunkards
behind me knocked the camera out of my hand. It landed on the
lens...dead. Ah well. It was so loud it probably woulda distorted
anyway!
