moin gerald, ich stimme da ja mit den meisten von dir genannten punkten überein.

ich finde jedoch die unkritische übernahme des economist-artikels inkl infografik recht schwierig. der geistert ja leider auch schon länger durch die gegend. auch im economist-artikel aber kein hinweis, was hier die datenbasis ist (ich liebe den economist, habe sogar ein printabo, bezweifel aber, dass sie sich auf diesem feld auskennen).

captiv8 schweigt sich da auch aus - kein wunder, die verdienen als influencer marketing agentur da ja auch mit. leider decken sich diese preise nicht mit der realität, weder hier noch in den USA. da habe ich sehr gute einblicke. wer so viel zahlt, kennt sich nicht ansatzweise aus. kommt das im einzelfall vor? vielleicht. nur sind diese zahlen nicht mal ansatzweise in der nähe dessen, was da an geld fließt. daher dient die infografik vor allem dazu, dass sich jetzt alle schön aufregen können. ist ansonsten aber nicht sehr hilfreich. nur als PR für captiv8, die dazu auch noch in der NYT rumblubbern durften (schon ein bisschen länger her, waren aber die gleichen zahlen).

people (or dogs or cats for that matter) who do stupid things also always win on Facebook when you look at reach and likes and comments. Donald Trump definitely falls into that category as I saw many people almost falling off their chairs when they heard about it. If you disregard sentiment on Facebook, you can make a headline like that. Otherwise, it's just a big joke!

and i just came to say "How are you?"... but: there is no plural for "Schuld" when it means "guilt". However, there is a plural for "Schuld" when it means "debt". So Dirk, yes, check the Duden. It's right in there that one of the meanings has a plural, the other one doesn't. I guess this argument proves that Germans can be quite pendantic not only when it comes to jaywalking (although this is really very common here in Berlin as everybody is ignoring a red light when crossing the street naked. I mean it's wintertime and they are freezing their butts off...). But I guess quite a few commentators are imagined native speakers with a severe sense of sciolism...

i rather find this article to be stupid and pointless (and utterly naive), to use your language. but to each his own opinion. this was a show of art done with a piece of art he created. you shouldn't project your own view on others as this is not a "fuck you"-gesture to people who love his artwork. on the contrary, this is a much-needed statement.
