Museo was certainly my favorite typeface for a long time simply because there was nothing else like it. And yeah, once I got some of the free weights I HAD to buy the rest. I'm really looking forward to what Jos Buivenga has stored for the future.

Re: Read Between The Leading - On this episode, we have our first guest...

First off I would like to say congratulations on the quick success of this podcast. 1000+ plays is very impressive, it seems that the recent post over at iLT brought in a lot of traffic. I really like what you guys did with this episode, bringing in Antonio from Aisle One was a great choice. Great show! Oh and I like the blooper at the end, kinda random but nice touch.

I also just wanted to share some ideas about a future topic for the show. I recently bought the book Data Flow by Gestalten (http://www.gestalten.com/) and became very interested how creative people are getting when it comes to displaying data and technical information. The book explores really unique ways of expressing information and reveals beautiful patterns in simple data.

Nicholas Feltron (www.feltron.com) explores the data of his own life putting out an annual report, which is really beautiful by the way, of the day to day things he does for an entire year. And with sites like http://daytum.com/ allows others to do the same. I just find the whole thing really interesting how creative and abstract displaying simple information is getting. It seems that the simple pie chart is obsolete.

-Robert
nerdski design studio

Re: Read Between The Leading - In this episode we discus the color magenta,...

I'm a graphic design student over at the Art Institute of California and I really enjoyed the show. I am currently taking my graphic design history class and for the past few weeks we have been talking about the different style movements that have taken place over the years. It is interesting to see the direction we are moving in now. I agree that everything is so different and broad that it opens up an endless amount of possibilities for the future. Great stuff, keep it up! Oh and Matt keep them type shirts coming I own them all. :]

-Robert
nerdski design studio
:]
