Simplicity isn't a "trend" its a foundation for *GOOD* web design. kind of a rookie mistake, don't you think? Maybe you should think about creating quality content instead of LOTS of content.

This statement is so true, and I'm glad Jeff came to realize this in his time as commissioner.

It feels as though decisions being made have not been for the benefit of the ultimate community, but for one single initiative or another. Hopefully the pro leagues is an example that USA Ultimate (and all of us) can learn from moving forward.

Canadian Nationals was played on a football field, and it was SO disorienting! I never really knew where the endzone was.. let alone if I was in bounds or not :S

This disconnect between USAU and it's members first became apparent to me with the addition of the U.S. Open, which they scheduled on the same weekend as Potlatch - one of the biggest and most competitive co-ed tourneys in North America (also now in it's TWENTY SEVENTH year) That said to me that they value THEIR version of the future of Ultimate much more highly than ours. I sincerely hope we are heard on this issue.

Very well articulated; thanks for your informative points. Fun and ultimate go hand-in-hand (as do NFL end zone celebrations once again) and broadcast schedules are subject to more variables than even media and ultimate veterans can envision.

After lots of work by Middlebury Pranksters co-founders Thomas Poopers Rooney (RIP) and Carl Mandrill Howard, we convinced the Administration to count a season of Ultimate, like a season of any other varsity sport, as one of the 5 required sports activities for graduation--back in Vermont in 1980.

From what I hear, Dylan and Kai also great teammates and kind people: following the Prankster legacy dating to 1977. And especially May, 1980, when Middlebury finished 4th at Easterns, at Bucknell University in Lewisburg PA, among ALL teams, beating New Jersey Plastic Exchange and Washington Air and Space but losing to Cornell and Boston Aero Disc.
