"Stealing" ideas? Yeah, they implemented something that FriendFeed and Twitter already have. So what? Businesses have been copying each other since the beginning of time. As far as "ripping off", well we don't know yet what Facebook will do with its Like feature. They may use the data for something different than what Friendfeed does and may even be an innovative one.

Re: yummeh: Our 2008 Coffee Bean journey, as told by him.

Now there is this redesigned Yahoo Mobile. It seems to me like everything Yahoo does is half-assed. Yahoo Calendar is another example. Sure, you can still use it, but the sync program is archaic. Yahoo Mail is full of bugs, I have to delete my email twice. My problem is that, when I create a Tumblr entry, Tumblr picks the first 100 characters (or so) to be published as a tweet. However, this 100 or so characters may not make sense to my Twitter followers.

I suppose I can structure my Tumblr log and discipline myself to always have a short description first. But it would help if the Tumblr dashboard has some kid of character counter so I know what will be published as a tweet.

Thanks!

Re: yummeh: Those votes for Kris were also votes to return the...

I wonder who Clay Aiken is referring to, though.
