most probably not. I just tested with japanese text. only ascii chars are being shown in the training result.

get yourself ready with score tweaking and what not. search is blazingly fast, but document scoring can be difficult sometime. Many ended up with a catch all field and ignoring other field weighting.

I disagree. While groceries seem to be "remeh temeh", it is a very standard product. There're no disputes on how sweet a particular sugar brand is. People knows. There's no shopping satisfaction to begin with. This is a great advantage over "will this skirt color suits me" or "will the size actually fit".

Given the infamous traffic jam factor, I bet Carrefour can reinvent home shopping.

Harus diakui memang pasar Singapura sudah jauh lebih siap untuk e-commerce daripada Indonesia. Ketersediaan Paypal jadi pembeda yang sangat signifikan. Memulai jadi penyelenggara jual beli online jadi jauh lebih simpel.

Di Indonesia, e-commerce simply is not convenience (just yet). Yang pegang barang jadi susah diyakinkan. Merchandising jadi seret. Akhirnya merembet ke urusan susah nyari pembeli. And the rest is history. CMIIW.

You should rephrase this one line to make it goes with the rest of your article.
"make it simpler and easier to get music the legal way" => "make it simpler and easier to get music".
Leave "the legal way" for your lawyer and chief profit officer (that could be you :D) to make fortune of it.

The most annoying part at the moment is that you have to play guessing game with the search box. "do you have Cherrybelle?", "do you have JKT48?". Autocomplete will surely helps a lot.

Second annoying part. There's no way to navigate yourself from album to artist.

I do think this online music thing is as hard-to-crack as e-commerce (even way harder?). Hopefully there will be more players jump into it and iterate much faster.

Bukannya kita memang perlu di tampar ya? Startup juga entitas bisnis. Kalau memang harus exit cepat ya gak mungkin dong ditunda hanya karena takut disebut tidak keren? Kecuali kita memang punya agenda lain yang lebih penting.

Deep pocket player menurut saya bagus buat Indonesia. Iterasi ekosistem bisa berjalan lebih cepat. Pasar bisa lebih cepat matang. Infrastruktur juga akan jadi lebih kondusif karena pengaruh deep pocket player.

Apa yang tidak wajar dengan merangkul user sebanyak-banyaknya? Kalau kita diberi modal besar kemungkinan besar kita juga melakukan hal yang sama. Mengamankan pasar, beberapa langkah di depan.

"Jika semua startup hanya memikirkan short term gain dan berharap suatu hari akan bisa dijual ala Rocket Internet, tamatlah sudah cita-cita kita semua mempunyai industri internet yang self-sustaining dan menjadi raja di negeri sendiri."

Kalau mau self-sustain, saya rasa kita harus siap dengan kompetisi keras semacam ini. Tak terhindarkan.

Untuk short-term gain, kita tak akan bisa mencegah orang untuk bermimpi. Kalau ternyata mimpinya semalam bisa sukses, kita tak bisa melarang. Mereka akan belajar, the hard way. Or laugh even effing louder because they nail it while we never believe their suppose-to-be fake dream.
