Lots of brainstorming sessions seem to happen in big groups (in the mistaken belief perhaps that more/better ideas will come if more people are there

Re: Post of the Month - September 2021 - Nominations - Only Dead Fish

Thanks Jim

Re: On Being Made Redundant - Only Dead Fish

Thanks Rob :-)

Re: Complexity Bias, and Looking for Answers in the Wrong Places - Only Dead Fish

Ha! yes. That's really interesting - I like your approach. When I was still in corporate world a coach forced me to write down the five most important things that my future career must have, if I was to be happy. I realised then that working in the job I had at the time wouldn't fulfill that, so I left. If I'm honest, I didn't have a clear picture of what I wanted to do next but I kind of iterated my way there. I think that too often, we place an unrealistic expectation on ourselves to define exactly what our next move would be, rather than just think about the elements that are important and following those. Would be interested to hear how you get on with your quest - perhaps we could grab a coffee sometime

Re: The Purpose of Life - Only Dead Fish

Nicely put Mark

Re: The Purpose of Life - Only Dead Fish

Thanks Frank.
