Her claim of racial harassment is difficult to believe, which makes me think she's either exaggerating or outright lying about Clooney

Isn't it strange when people claim "racists" were the ones who voted for Trump yet completely overlook the fact that Obama got around 95% of the black vote in 2008? On its face, it seems clear to me that a large number of the black voters voted for him in 2008 because of his skin color, which is patently racist!

Most Republicans I know are disgusted by the nay votes of her and John McCain, both of whom promised a repeal of Obamacare during their last election campaign, and then completely reneged on those promises.

It is amazing how the average person on the street believes the spin that all teachers are underpaid. I live in Illinois, where there is a pension crisis which may push the entire state to the brink of bankruptcy (if bankruptcy is even a legal option!) There are many retired teachers in IL who retired in their late 50s and who are now collecting six-figure pension payments and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. In some of the bigger districts, high school gym teachers make over $100k/year! The system in IL, at least, is practically set up to make teachers millionaires many times over if they teach for a sufficiently long length of time.

I know that Nestle is a good company, however I personally hate dealing with the foreign withholding tax issue. Is there a minimum of 15% foreign tax withheld on dividend payments for this holding? If so, then I assume there is no reason to hold Nestle in a tax-sheltered account such as an IRA where foreign tax withheld cannot be recaptured when paying US taxes (as I understand it).
