I totally agree that if there is no well thought out design, strategy or plan for their real estate blog then don't do it. There are so many creative ways to blog now though such as local event pictures or video interviews at local events. The images can be labeled with keywords to still get google juice.

Very cool tip Amy! I'm wondering if 3rd party apps make it clickable. I am a heavy hootsuite user and it's not clickable on Hootsuite (bummer) but I wonder what it looks like on other 3rd party apps.

Hi Marcie! It's hard to believe that it's almost 1 year already..What if you get chosen to speak? I submitted a speaker proposal but I don't know when we should hear back. I have a schedule conflict that weekend but I'm going to at least attempt to attend 1 day.

I love these types of posts where we can learn from other bloggers. I was on a cruise vacation when I received an email to possibly add my thoughts. (still daydreaming about my cruise! Ahhh relaxation) :) I wanted to add that making simple changes to improve blog design goes a long way. Things such as placing subscriber info, most popular posts, ways to contact you, etc in prime viewing locations.

As a real estate broker, our team is really finding incredible value using Twitter & Hootsuite. It's allowing everyone to change their mindset about Twitter since Facebook, Youtube and Wordpress blogging are heavily used.
