I don't think there's anything implied in the post that says you can't, but when I think about it, no. One of the definitions of Honest: "Simple, unpretentious, and unsophisticated." If you can say exactly what you feel, I don't think there's any room for confusion. How someone might interpret it, and how it fits into their particular situation is a whole other story.
