But it also requires experience to get right, i think.

Re: Service Design Show University

I especially liked the point that this is not about documenting a journey/process - it is about what output this can enable. What change this can drive. What impact my work can have.

Re: Service Design Show University

In my experience, one of the results after going through a customer journey mapping project is that the organisation needs to update their KPIs. Too often KPIs are not clearly connected to the quality of the customer experience.

Re: Service Design Show University

Hi,
I'm Erik from Gotenburg, Sweden. I won't have time to look at it for a while though, but I'll post an update here when I get around to it. I have a few other improvements I got from other people as well, including support for multiple drives.

Re: Converting Windows paths to Mac paths and vice versa [updated]

I'm glad it worked out!

Re: Converting Windows paths to Mac paths and vice versa [updated]

Ah, the application file is really old, I should remove that part. You should instead open the script file, edit the paths as needed (see instructions above) and then choose "export" from the file menu and save it as an application. Then use the exported application file instead.

Re:

And personally I think the "hey, look at Apple, the 2nd most valuable company in the world with the most known brand, let's just copy what they do" is a bit unrealistic. Every company would of course like to mimic their success, but it takes more than just copy/paste to do it.

Re: http://fuelstation.tumblr.com/post/2582678598

One thing that strikes me is that most of the sites have a pretty narrow scope. They present pretty simple products or offerings which can be described in a few pages. More complex offerings tend to result in more complex sites, both technically speaking and in terms of usability - with a few notable exceptions, like Apple.

Re: http://fuelstation.tumblr.com/post/2403452194

They will turn into Creative Developers and do a little bit of everything :-)
