Herbivore's Blue Tansy Mask has done WONDERS for my skin. I only use it once a week but it makes such a difference. To remove make up I usually use plain old unrefined coconut oil to "melt off" make up and then do a good wash with Glossier's Milky Jelly cleanser. Since coconut oil is comedogenic I make sure to wash it off so it doesn't clog my pores but it makes such a good make up remover! xx

Their Blue Tansy mask is a lifesaver! It has cleared my skin up so well, faded acne scars, and has made me comfortable going foundation free. It's truly amazing! x

Oh I'm obsessed with candles. My favorites right now are Catbird's Ghost Rose and Kitten scents. Usually when I pick candles I prefer ones with a more romantic, cozy, seductive scent than sweet that warms the room. Amber, rose, patchouli and oud are usually the first candles I gravitate towards. xx

I love this! Good friends of mine did something similar except they sort of told me about it. About 6 months prior to them getting married we went out to dinner and they asked... how upset will be you be if you don't see us get married? Naturally I thought they called off the wedding or I did something wrong and wouldn't be invited! Instead they decided to elope in New Zealand just the two of them! I thought it was so perfect and after they had a beautiful wedding party with close friends and family. Honestly, it's exactly how I imagine I would get married if the right person ever came along. Congrats to you both! xx

I just bought the Birthday Balm dotcom and man oh man is it heavenly. If you can get your hands on Cloud Paint I absolutely recommend the shades Haze and Dusk. I use them daily and get so many complements. xx

Sorry! Should have been more clear! But I 100% agree with you in that coconut oil has its issues. It's full of saturated fat which isn't easy on digestion - coconut oil (or any food/supplement/etc.) is not a cure all. Ultimately when we consume it should be about balance and moderation. But the AHA coming out against coconut oil so aggressively while being funded by companies dependent on sugars is a bit suspect.

The AHA is funded by a majority of companies that sell predominately sugary snacks. So yes, for them (AHA) there's no money in healthy fats but there is money in sugar. There is a promise of profit from a story like their's.

I agree with Jackie, the AHA is funded by many corporations that are not exactly "healthy" - their logos can be found on surgery cereals, Pepsi products, Kraft products, Nestle products among others. There is no money in healthy fats but there is a ton of money in sugar. Obviously anything, including coconut oil, need to be used in moderation but them coming out against coconut oil while putting their logo on a box of cocoa pebbles is incredibly misleading.

Oh my god, how cosmic I was just having this conversation with a friend of mine last night! Another thing I like about Instagram Stories is that the photo quality is insanely better than Snapchat! I have no idea how or why this is possible - same camera, same phone - yet sometimes I'll take the same photo on Snapchat and then again on Instagram stories and the Instagram one is far superior.

But I agree with you, I like using Instagram stories as a way to not only enhance my Instagram feed but also sometimes to give my followers an "insight" into my life. That I'm goofy or have sick days or eat Taco Bell in bed. Sometimes I feel like the feeds themselves can give off this unrealistic and idealistic representation of the user so it's fun to say HEY I'm normal and weird I'm just sharing you a glimpse into my life with my favorite photos but that's not the entire package.

YES! Finally! I feel so vindicated! For years I've been described as always being "dressed up", that even my jeans were "dressy, nice jeans" and I never understood why that it was considered odd to dress that way. I always felt good when I wore my favorite dress or my new trench coat but automatically felt like I was abnormal when people would point out that I was - in their mind - overdressed because I wasn't wearing an oversized sweatshirt or baggy jeans. This article makes me so happy!

When combined with the clothing it gives off the effect he was looking for - of rave/club kids. But it's not hard to say "we were inspired by locs worn by ravers who adopted them from black culture" instead of ignoring them completely.

I have been desperately awaiting a re-stock of the Perfecting Skin Tint so it's wonderful to know that you care so much about the quality of the product you sell! I adore the coconut balm, moon mask and just recently bought the milky jelly so I know it'll be worth the wait. Plus this gives me time to try and use up the foundation I already have so I feel less guilty buying a new one. Keep up the wonderful work! :) xx

Claire Danes was best dressed of the night in terms of nailing the theme, I also loved Emma Watson's subtle nod to technology by wearing a dress made of recycled bottles. I was very underwhelmed by anyone wearing Balmain or LV there was just so so much of it that it felt extremely over saturated - nearly every other guest wore one of those designers (some of it being not very exciting or good). I was incredibly surprised that there weren't more looks from Gucci or Alexander McQueen. Kate Hudson's Versace gown was wonderful. Was anyone else bored with Gigi's look? Zayn definitely stole her thunder that night.

I thought it was interesting how Alexander held his last collection with Balenciaga at (I believe) a church, quickly to be followed by this collection at yet another church. Not sure if deliberate, but just an interesting connection. I also felt that the collection was slightly trying too hard, however there were bits I quite liked. I enjoyed that he injected a bit of humor into the collection. Most notably the pink corduroys with strippers on them that brings back memories of preppy girls and guys wearing similar pairs but with anchors and whales. While some items felt a bit novelty, looks 17 and 18 I thought were great. The outerwear was a winner for me as well. Now that he has all his time to focus on his own brand I'm excited to see what more is to come.

Yes! Yes! This 100%. I was reading an article on I believe Business of Fashion about how Kayne is ushering in a new way to present fashion and all I could think was: based on what I've seen of the presentation was how the do you see the clothes? How do you discern if it is a successful collection if you have to view it through a jumbotron? As an artist who wants to be taken so seriously for his work in fashion he made it darn near impossible to take any lasting impressions from the designs based on the way it was presented. It also leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that he refuses to go through the CFDA. I feel like you don't make many friends in the fashion world by forcing other designers to re-arrange their schedules for someone who isn't playing fair.

The Clinique Moisture Surge Balm is a lifesaver. Every year my skin turns into a desert come winter, cracking, peeling the worse! This stuff has been an absolute dream at keeping my skin hydrated.
