The humans there were forced to the fungal
forests to find sustenance, and find it they did—in the form of the
mycoids and their saproling offspring. What the humans saw as salvation,
the mycoids called genocide, and they declared war on the invading
mammals. Mages tore through the sporeborn troops with fire and steel.
Only when the mycoid hero Ghave, Guru of Spores emerged did the
tide finally turn. Gifted with mystic influence over the sporeborn,
Ghave sculpted the fungal matter of his people into an ever-mutating
army and reclaimed his forest home."

Once again, people feel like eatin' the poor little sporebabies. Oh well.

Re: MORTASHEEN

Heh, it's kind of amusing to consider one of these things just showing up and going "Hmmm. I was thinking about what could possibly be the type combination Rock/Poison, and I realized that Viruses are basically "living" minerals that poison people. I imagined a sort of big bacteriophage thing with a grinning face on its crystalline head, and it was supposedly filled with really toxic liquid. Its special ability would be something that allowed its attacks to do more damage/badly poison with every move in exchange for damaging it every time; I imagined it would be explained as it rupturing its crystal head to spurt poison/virus-infested liquid on the target!

Re: BOGLEECH

As a minor note, water types aren't immune to burn unless they have an ability that counters it out or used Water Veil. Interesting idea though, perhaps possessor of a special fire attack that does normal damage to water types?

Re: BOGLEECH

In case you're wondering, the "body check" referred to in Eeleye's description is just slamming into someone with your body to attack. In real life, there's also a "hip check" which is slamming someone with your hips, and so forth.

Re: MORTASHEEN

Don't forget that Vampirism is a virus in this universe, so it's probably not advised.

Re: MORTASHEEN

So.... cute...

Re: MORTASHEEN

The best Ultimate IMHO, well, maybe tied with Necromon.

Re: MORTASHEEN

I don't know why, but this is one of the few Mortasheen I actually lolled at... probably just the absurdity

Re: MORTASHEEN

Grinning worm is grinning and... disturbing me.

Re: MORTASHEEN

Wow, this may be my new favorite!

Re: MORTASHEEN

One really creepy bird.

Re: MORTASHEEN

I am officially going to have nightmares about this....
