I appreciate the kind words. I'm based in the Seattle area, but I'd love to visit next time we get around your parts. :)

Re: Detained in the Underbelly of Madrid-Barajas Airport - Adelante

I don't know! They said it was random. Hubby thinks it's because I lived in Spain for several years before though. Who knows? Hopefully our travels from here on out will be smooth!

Re: Where to Eat in Madrid - Adelante

My sister-in-law took us to TerraMundi in Heurtas. Amazing menu for 12 Euros. I got cochinillo to share. We couldn't even finish. So good and great atmosphere! http://terramundi.net/

Re: Detained in the Underbelly of Madrid-Barajas Airport - Adelante

I'm sorry that happened to you! I got on the nice SSSS list leaving Barajas to Seattle last week. They took me to a special area before boarding and patted me down and searched through my bags. It was not nearly as bad as your experience though. :(

Re: WordPress Related Posts Without a Plugin

I figured it out. I was putting the call into the content-byline.php file and didn't realize the related-posts.php was also calling that template. So, it was creating an eternal loop.

Thanks for the tip!

Re: WordPress Related Posts Without a Plugin

When I apply joints_related_posts(); to my theme, my website won't load and just keeps spinning. I feel that the annoyance leaks into what we do sometimes too though because some people are just very sensitive to any kind of launching anything. One time I got a snarky criticism from someone for launching a little thing on the same day as someone else's big thing. Like I really planned that! lol

Re: When resilience is overwhelmed

I'm still recovering from my worst about 2 years ago. I think you're right, 100% is different than 95%. At 100%, your body sabotages your efforts and there's just not much you can do about it. So much better to take care of yourself along the way. When I think of my younger self working hours straight in front of the computer without even wanting to take a pee break, I want to shake some good sense into her.

Re: Oh What to Do About Sugar ?

Lovely, thanks Jen. These are great tips. :)

I followed a very strict Paleo diet for several years which was excellent for me at the time. Now, if I try to go too strict with it, I feel drained so something changed.

In a more intuitive sense though, I've always felt like food that is healthy for me makes me feel lighter and more "lifted up" and food that isn't good for me makes me feel heavier and slower.

I think if most people stop to be more present when they eat and feel what their body says, it will guide them to better food choices and help them plan accordingly. Sadly, most of us eat in a rush or grab what's there which tends to be the wrong thing for us.

Re: The Fortune Cookie Principle™

I see what you did there, integrating logic. :-)

Re: The Fortune Cookie Principle™

Love it! I think when we're offering a product or service, we have the impression we need to justify it to others. Usually by using logic. I've fallen into this trap quite a few times too.

Re: Sweet Spots Evolve: How I’ve Grown From a Solopreneur/Freelancer Business Model Into a Boutique Agency

Exciting!!

Re: The Donkey and the Carrot of Hating Yourself

I'm slowly learning that the joy is in the process, at least for me. Can't wait to see how it goes. I've also been curtailing social media whenever I need to focus on something. One thing that helped me a lot, especially last year, was a firefox plugin called LeechBlock which actually blocks whichever sites you tell it to. Kind of embarrassing that I had to install it to kick the habit, but it really helped.

Best of luck to you! :)
