Being married to a vampire, I am not currently a morning person. On the off chance I do wake up early (before 10am) I am thrilled to have the morning. It's so quiet and peaceful and I feel way more productive because I agree with you that afternoon is just limbo time.

Why does every little incident require animosity and confrontation? Because that's the only to get attention. And ratings. Because to do otherwise would be "boring". The truth is also boring. And so is being even-keeled, civil, nice, fair, common sensical, etc...

Don't take this the wrong way, but you really nailed it when you said: "how does anyone know how the other person perceived something without the sake of a two-way, face-to-face conversation?" I don't know how that could be misinterpreted but just know that I say it with love. :)

I seriously don't get the lying thing either. I like how you put it because I feel I can relate to it, too. I just don't "care" enough to lie. I hate it when people even exaggerate. Because to me, it's still lying. I suspect people lie because they don't get enough attention when they simply tell the truth. But lie, and you get a more desired response. It's sad.
