This album showed up in Spotify's new release playlist a couple days ago. I had no idea what I was getting into. I love it...it's a weird stew of organic, gritty, dour, electronic psych-pop that sounds of the rails and catchy at the same time. 'Ashes & Embers' is the highlight for me, but the whole thing is good stuff

At first I was irritated by this comment, but it gave me a thought: this is the movie that really pushed me to seek out more Korean movies. Before, I had watched Oldboy, The Host, and Lady Vengeance. I like them a lot, but it was Devil that really pushed me over the cliff. If not for Devil, I would have never seen Chaser or Mother or Pieta or (sigh) Thirst, etc. So hopefully this will fall under 'gateway' territory and introduce more people to Korean cinema

"ABC's entire lineup generally sucks" - I disagree so hard! Modern Family, The Neighbors, Wipeout and dare I say...Scandal and Shark Tank. But as for the subject at hand, they aren't on track with the show and your words here show that because I've seen your hopes erode over the course of these reviews

Damn, Inkoo, tell us how you really feel!

I got some good laughs out of reading your scat-dipped barbs, but strangely enough I enjoyed the episode despite its hamfistedness. For some reason, I like the idea of a superhero being known simply as "Mr. Peterson", no matter how crappy his fight choreography is. The problem is, they haven't developed the core team characters enough to earn injecting a new person into mix (guess they realized at the end of the script and decided to have run back to get blown up real quick) so they basically remain sketches.

I love how butthurt May got this episode when Ward said he wasn't sprung on that cookie, and then subsequent smackdown she gave Skye about not giving a pebbleshit about her parent subplot.

Overall, I still watch this show because I like the whole Marvel approach overall and I live in wonderful modern times that let me watch it when I want. I'll miss your reviews of this show, Inkoo, I liked them when I agreed and disagreed aswell

1. I've been meaning to read the book this is based on. Gotta get that done before this comes out.

2. Is this going to be on of those watered down PG-13 action movies? (Main IMDB isn't working for some reason)

3. Emily Blunt is: The Bitch of War. I really hope they use that name, because as stupid as it sounds that was a big selling point for me and I wanted to experience it being used on the big screen

When I first saw the headline I thought it had to be The Onion. I've read conflicting stories about how far along this movie was. Hopefully he got to finish his work on Fast. With all these multi-movie franchises with plans into 2015-16 I've wondered how they plan for things like this happening. I remember coming out of the theatre after The Matrix hoping very hard nothing happened to the actors so the rest of the story could be made properly

Kudos to Danny McBride. He acted the shit out of this ending - especially the confession to April. I was a bit sad that the beautiful end sequence was only screenplay, but I guess they got to keep him alive for a Curb/Eastbound HBO crossover

I just watched the episode and the well parts are still kind of unclear to me. The a-hole older bro, yes I recognized that. But if Ward was the one with the rope, why have the underwater bottom of the well perspective shots? Just because it looked cool? I am not sure if Ward was in the well or not because of those shots. It doesn't really matter to me, because I'm occupied with being satisfied that Ward was given some depth and that the episode overall was good. The Calvary saying, 'because I see it everyday' and leaving the door open were short in screen time but very intriguing overall. SHIELD has been more misses than hits for me and I'm thankful I live in an age where I can watch it when I want without having to miss other shows *cough Brooklyn Nine-Nine cough*

Also, I enjoy Inkoo Kang's write ups. I like to see reviews done truly on a per-episode basis. Some sites seem to take a stance to stick with it no matter what, and I like that not being the case here

If it's competently made, I usually won't jump ship. It could go somewhere and surprise me. If it doesn't, when I declare 'shit's garbage,' I will be able to defend my opinion more. For example, I couldn't get past 15 minutes of that F Stomp movie (probably not the name) movie because the 'white boys using madd urban slang' dialogue was seriously offputting to me. However, I can't say it's a wretched waste of bandwidth because I did not finish it to find out
