What's the status of your laptop? Does it power off entirely, or reboot? Windows acting strangely? I'm just asking random questions to get a sense of what the problem is, and it very well could be a hardware problem. I wouldn't conclude that it's the motherboard, though.

Also, how old is the PC? Any warranty remaining?

BTW, Geek Squad is alright as a last resort, but I'm hoping that someone from the tumblr's "geek squad" could help you first.

It definitely sounds like a hardware issue. I'm not sure I can help any further, but I could ask the tech geek I always go to for stuff like this when he gets back to work. Laptops might be tougher for hardware replacements than desktops are, though.

I was still slightly peeved about the Julia NY Times story, as someone who used to get the daily paper she wrote in. But I didn't want to complain about the Julia trio, because I hate when others do the same, so I used a wonky way to get around it. Anyway, my point was that if you decide that the school kids are too crazy (here it is again), you might have a future as a dating columnist. :)

Now, as for your point, it's basically dead-on... it's a matter of how men and women respond to relationship issues. Calling girls crazy is the easy way out, we'll work on another word to utilize instead of crazy. And perhaps dumping girls through facebook is not the best idea. No text messages either, right?

It looks good for the most part! I sorta agree about the giraffe, perhaps you can work some of the green branching from the (dot) into that white space? Not necessarily extend from the dot, just create a new design. That would keep the colors coordinated, and if you want to add more color, perhaps a flower would do the trick. Ultimately, it depends on what type of portfolio you want this to be.

I would hope so! I've always said that about absurdly expensive luxury products: if I'm buying it, it better be laced in gold.

On the other hand, the grey thing leaning against the hamburger looks like a cow chip. Since you live in Brazil and might know what I'm talking about, I'll explain, just for fun: a cow chip is basically dried up cow excrement, molded into a flat disc. Our more eccentric neighbors in the midwest enjoy having contests where they try to throw cow chips the farthest.

I approve of all of this, although it doesn't take away the function of reblogging, which I still feel is critical for exposing tumblogs to other people. I've just about given up on the idea of empty reblogging for the most part, as I can generally count on others to do that.

On that note, I'm kinda happy I don't see the same cupcake reblogged five times into my dashboard.

This was a much better reaction than my cousins' dog to the new addition of the extended family (age 1 year and walking), which was to stumble around cluelessly and nibble on her arm. He was 9 months old, and clearly in need of obedience training. Black lab mix. Apparently they like to nibble.
