There are GOOD laws....and there are BAD laws. Just because a bill is passed into LAW by Congress, signed by the PRESIDENT, and upheld by the Supreme Court - well - that does not necessarily make it a GOOD law. In the past - many BAD laws that have been passed, signed, and upheld...have ALSO have ulitmately been repealed. Usually, those laws have been REJECTED as "BAD" or "UNWORKABLE" or "UNCONSTITUTIONAL" by WE THE PEOPLE. WE refuse to follow them, or fight to remove them. TWO, of major significance, that I can think of offhand are.....SLAVERY......and PROHIBITION. It is amusing that DEMO'RATS' have the temerity to state that Obamacare is "the LAW OF THE LAND" and therefore cannot be messed with. All the while - they are diligently attempting to overturn a "LAW OF THE LAND" than has existed for some 222 years. THAT would be our SECOND AMENDMENT 'RIGHT TO BEAR ARMS'. I can also cite DOMA - which they are fighting to overturn. Seems to me like DOMA was PASSED, SIGNED INTO LAW, and UPHELD. NOW, Dems want GAY MARRIAGE and DOMA OVERTURNED. AND...how about ALL THOSE IMMIGRATION laws that the DEMORATS are steadily working at repealing. It is ludicruos to BLOVIATE that certain LAWS absolutely MAY NOT be overturned - citing them as "THE LAW OF THE LAND" - while chipping away at others with the express purpose of overturning them. LAUGHABLE, in fact.

I would surely APPRECIATE the right to celebrate MY beliefs, which is the birth of Christ. I would never want to say that other people should not celebrate whatever they believe in. Actually, I my memory does serve me - St. Nicholas was a real person who gave gifts to children - and the MYTH arose from him…and he was white. I would have to say -
good luck in changing the perception that Santa is white. Does not really MATTER to me. I don't think that CHRISTMAS is about SANTA in any way, shape or form. The Grinch dressed up like Santa - and he was green. Honestly - this is a very dumb issue. For ME, Christmas is about the birth of the Lord, Jesus Christ - and that is what I celebrate. His birth. However - many other people celebrate in many other ways. Hannukah…Kwanza…and it appears that you celebrate Solstice. The entire issue has been created to stir up angst about the CHRISTMAS season, which is what liberals do every single year. I do suppose they LIKE the days off work…….. As for as the actual day….CHRISTMAS….Jesus is the REASON for that SEASON.

@KAY - I agree….totally. And - if you look closely at this issue…..ISN'T is a bit RACIST to think that Santa should NOT be white??? What is actually wrong with a white Santa giving gifts to ALL races of children? I guess I don't get it. I am sick and tired of the RACIAL divide that our ILLUSTRIOUS leader has brought to this country. I don't remember all of this going on in decades past.
