I found 'her' (it looks feminine to me) while on a night tour in Drake Bay,
on the Osa Peninsula!

Very interesting... I used to have a pet iguana too, but it kept pooping on
the heat rock and it smelled really bad. He/she always had spider mites too,
no matter how clean I kept the cage... For now-- I'm just happy to view them
in the wild- But thanks for all the great info about the omeronasal organ...

Haha-- he does look awfully fat! I think he was just really fluffy! Though
this particular photo has been debated by myself and my bird watcher friends
as to whether or not it actually is a hummingbird. We think its a type of
hummingbird because of the straight long, narrow beak, but have yet to
identify which species.

I stumbled upon the iguana-- he was moving around in the bushes and i
noticed the limbs moving-- I actually had to lean over with the camera to
take the shot, and my brother was standing a few steps above me telling me
where to move the camera so i could frame it properly-- Just lucky it came
out so good!

The iguana is a male green iguana (*Iguana iguana*). They turn red when
interested in mating...
