The Ustream bits are great. One topic has come up a couple of times now. And, I must say that you get my utmost respect for insisting that minors & single gals be accompanied if walkN w/ you. Jimmy, you're an old soul & I think that's SO awesome... exactly how it should be. No lie, my Pastor preached on the subject this mornN. :) Just so U know, I would love the opportunity to join ur walk but prolly couldn't arrange a male counterpart... & besides, I'm SURE that you'd prefer for all that 'travel money' 2 go to the MMH fund Nstead of seeing my face 4 the 87th time, right!?! Haha. ;) Anyhoo, I'll just keep on walkN & talkN to folks about MMH from rt here. I've walkD 34 miles so far... will gradually increase the distance every couple of wks now. Just got done w/ a late-nite walk @ the gym... & I'm beat! Prefer walkN outside, but it just didn't happen 2day.

No walkN 4 me 2nite. :( Got blisters on my feet... and just 2 explain, my walkN plan includes 1 day to 'rest' per week... although I'll be doin laundry, taking care of bus., etc... so still on the go, go, go. There's not enough hours N a day it seems! Well, I'm off 2 church now. We'll be prayN 4U, Jimmy. Looks like snow around 11pm. That's awesome! I agree Kristi, the 'outer layer' doesn't mean much at all. My nephew (& his friends) are devout Harley riders... they may look pretty darn intimidating (leather, tats, etc), but they're nothing but big ole' teddy bears w/a big HEART in the midst of that 'bad-A' exterior. Several times a year, they collect money to fund area kids' cancer treatment. You should see them interact. The kids love 'em.

Loose dogs scare me, too! I can't even walk where I live right now... had an angry German Sheppard, a Chow, a Pit Bull and a snippy little Poodle all gang up after me the other day. Luckily, I was able to pick up a big stick, sound real mean & scare 'em away. I'll have to take y'alls advise about the pepper spray... THANKS!!

Good thing donuts aren't my weakness! LOL. Just want U 2 know that you lit a FIRE under my butt (or guess I should say FEET) to get moving, and I've been 100% loyal to the MMH mile-'match' that I promised ya! Have already dropD 7 lbs in 5 days. Yay! You're an inspiration in many different ways across the board. This is only the beginning of something GRAND scale. I like how you Think Big... and then DO IT! ;)

Jimmy, you were a presh-presh baby boy w/your cotton-top hair! *SMILES* Gee whiz, the Costner's sound more & more like my own parents... you describe 'em to a tee! They must've been about the same age as my folks, too. Let's say that I was a 'surprise' very late in their lives (they were the age of most kid's grandparents & my siblings were already in HS & starting college when I was born.) Wouldn't trade anything for the 'structured' (old fashioned) environment though. God truly blessed me in that way... as He did YOU in meeting the Costner's.
