Thanks for the recap.

Re: Lessons Learned after a Startup Acquisition

Adam - Good to see there's others who think similarly. What other things are in the Argyle playbook? Maybe a follow on post from you on this topic?

Re: Lessons Learned after a Startup Acquisition

Awesome - glad you liked it. Hope it gets you moving on your idea. As difficult as it may have been, provides a lot of insight and help.

Re: On Intranets and their Editors | EditMe

Thanks for the comment Mark! Interesting thoughts about how an online classroom would structure an EditMe wiki in a similar fashion to a company intranet. Seems reasonable to me. I wonder though, if the way that structure is used would be different. For a company intranet, the theory is that all employees come together to create one main body of knowledge that become's the company's "best practices" handbook. In an online classroom, the teacher would be the one to determine which content is "correct" vs. "incorrect." What do you think?

Re: Venture Funding as a Competitive Disadvantage | EditMe

Nick, great comments. I especially agree with the false sense of security a fat-startup gets when the investors and Board hands the company many of their first customers. This is a trap that results in the company not knowing why a customer really would want to buy the product.

Thanks very much for your comment. It's great to hear from other self-funded organizations that are crushing it. Gives us a model to shoot for!

Re: Ways to Wiki: Employee Onboarding | EditMe

Great post, Matt. One additional idea is to somehow "make it fun." How about a small reward or token of appreciation at the end of the on-boarding process. You could make it fun, but also take the time to reflect your company's personality. "Congratulations to Aimee for completing XYX Corp's First Day. You're one of us now!"

Re: Vote for EditMe at Mass Innovation Nights | EditMe

Absolutely! You know I'm always open to your ideas, Josh. :)

Abby from Tipjoy made some great chocolate crackle cookies for a WebInno in the past too.

Thanks for the comment and see you next Wednesday. Those who had something to hide are completely caught off guard and are left with very little options if they choose to continue to ignore problems with product quality or poor customer service.

Best advice here is to not worry too much about social tools or other people's opinions. Instead, focus energy on being good at what you do.

Re: Microblogging sites make content more relevant

Dean,
Techcrunch reports that Pownce has announced their API - http://www.techcrunch.com/2...
